Updating this review as my son has moved up in classes within this childcare facility…read more I wanna say that he is really had a decent experience there, but I feel like this is all a business more than it is a place for kids to feel safe. My child would be transitioned very quickly after turning a new age and it was just really abrupt and I don't feel like the transition had the interest of the child at heart. It was more to get new children - into the facility to earn more money; And I do understand that it is a business, but I do feel like depending on the child, there should be some more compassion given. There were too many times that my child was getting hurt in the older classes, and I was finding out about it late or not finding out about it at all. If I Would find out it was through my child and then the teachers would confirm. No Incident reports were written nor did directors know (but I feel like that was more because it was pushed under the rug by leadership) I should've been called each and every time regardless of the severity. I feel like there was also lots of gaslighting going on. Saying that kids were getting expelled from the facility for their repeated incidents of bad behavior and hitting, and that was not the case (all in all it was to keep business and money flowing into the facility). Won't be back this year for VPK. I still believe that the younger teachers 2a and below are great and children will be taken well care of. Just can't say the same about the older classes. 3's class was not too bad. Destine and Chesney were such great teachers!

The open door policy, the fact that they listen to concerns and provide feedback. They are always there for my kids. You can tell they really care about the kids and want the best for them. More importantly my child loves to go to school! She is currently in the older three-year-old class and absolutely adores her teachers Miss Natalie and Miss Jenn. Miss Natalie is kind, patient, loving and compassionate and works very well with children! Miss Jenn my is also loving, kind, caring & compassionate. & I've seen a silly side of her that my daughter loves! From a parents perspective I couldn't ask for more! My child is loved & cared for! & as a mom what could better! The office staff is so sweet & friendly! I love seeing the school decorated for the different holidays & also love the many celebrations for the holidays. Nina is the assistant administrator who is nice, but it seems that every complaint falls through the cracks with no resolution. We have been told multiple times that corporate will follow up with us, but we have never received a phone call or email. I have called the school several times in the past month to speak to Karin and Nina. I have also sat down face-to-face with them several times but no resolution has been made. I understand that bits may be age-appropriate for toddlers, but receiving 9 in such a short period of time is unacceptable. Today I found another bite on my Toddler with no notification from the school. Clearly, no one is holding their word when they say they will keep a closer eye on the Toddlers in the class to limit the biting. I told the school I would like a call from the regional manager to talk about what would be done to resolve this issue. Update: The school never called, so I had to call in to get an update on what they would do to help limit classroom biting. They informed me that a 3rd teacher would be in the class during the moments the main teachers are handling lunches and diaper changes. Although this sounded promising, they had already told us this would be implemented several weeks ago. At this time, we do not trust the management and have decided to enroll our toddler in another school. Reflection: The Kiddie Academy is very clean, and the staff I have dealt with have been nice to my toddler and me. We left because the administration couldn't be trusted to keep their word, and management never helped with our situation. Also, the morning teacher for the next age group 2+ I would hear her yelling at the kids in the morning and could be heard from the toddler room. On a few occasions I thought about stepping in to say something because no kid deserves to be yelled at but I am kicking myself because I never did. I do not want my kid to start thinking biting is okay. And I do not want my kid to get yelled at when they age up to the 2+ year old class. This is an honest review from a parent that tried to be respectful and responsible with the school but in the end I had enough.

This is extremely concerning, especially since these injuries occurred while under staff supervision. At this point, I cannot rule out whether this involved another child or something more serious due to the lack of transparency. I have formally requested to review the camera footage from that day and asked that it be preserved. I am currently waiting for a response. Parents trust this facility to keep their children safe and to communicate honestly when something happens. The lack of answers raises serious concerns.

My daughter is learning and socializing as you would expect in a day care which is a great thing. The room is clean and it seems the children wash their hands often, another great thing. For whom I've interacted with, staff wise, have always had a smile and/or have a pleasant greeting as I've walked through the building. There is a lunch lady that always high fives my daughter when we walk by her in the halls. The director has always been friendly while being professional. She is straight forward and quick with answers and help. They also use WatchMeGrow to be able to check on your little one with the cameras in the building and they use Tadpoles to communicate daily reports and send pictures of the students performing their curriculum. The building itself is brand new and feels that way. Clean and well maintained. The temperature in the building is always cool but not cold. Overall, for the service, it meets all what they say and what I think should be happening for my daughter and would recommend the school. We have the free half day program so I won't talk about service for the asking price. From my experience with my older daughter and searching around the prices are close or the same as any other day care I have search in the area. The last thing that I experience with and/or want to mention is getting in and out of the parking lot. Give yourself and extra 5-10 mins till you experience the traffic. This is not a deal breaker by any stretch of the imagination, this is a warning if you don't travel that area, often the traffic can stop you for quite a bit.

My three grandchildren have been students for the past 6 years and their education has been excellent. Galileo believes that all of their students have talents waiting to be discovered and the teachers and support staff help them find "themselves". They provide the guidance, the tools, the support and the FUN that all Florida students would love to be part of. Galileo is currently opening their second campus because there are so many children in Seminole County that want to be part of this fantastic school. Their parents have heard about the student success at Galileo, entered their kids into an enrollment lottery that has twice the number of applicants as slots. If that isn't a testimony of success I don't know what is! If you are interested in visiting the school for the 1921/22 school year (they have a full student body for this 1920/21 year) look at the school website, the parent reviews and the state of Florida statistics. I am confident your children will have the same fantastic, memorable educational experience my grandkids are.
