Boat was dirty, full of leaves with cabinets/under seat locations filled with stink bugs they promised they would clean. Delivered in same condition. Promised me an included safety kit with the sale. Didn't deliver it. Multiple times, the sales lady said she'd ship me an anchor. Didn't deliver it. Claimed they did a multi-point inspection only to find a month later an impeller ready to fail and old broken fuel lines. They processed GA registration with the incorrect HIN# so it was a mess and a long wait trying to re-register in my state. Don't trust a thing these people say they will do because they won't.

We have been members for over 2 years, and for us, just not having to deal with the maintenance of a boat is such a relief lol Plus, we get access to different types of boats, which is a blessing because when our kids come and want to do all the water sports young adults like to do we have access to the sporting boats. However, when us old folk want to relax and enjoy the water, we select their pontoons. To add, their staff goes above and beyond to help make every boat trip stress free! Our favorite marina, bar none, is the Suntex Boat Club in Acworth, GA. These staff members have become more like family to us because of the level of service they provide us with every visit. We aren't just another number to them. With every visit, they go out of their way to ensure we don't carry our things to and fro, they ensure we have all we need once we are on the boat, and thoroughly explain things when we have any questions or concerns. Went floating with Euharlee Creek Outfitters Memorial Day weekend. We arrived around 1pm and it was…read more4.5 hour float. You park your car at the rental shop and walk down to the Euharlee Creek to start your float. They will shuttle you but it was a short walk and we didn't want to wait for a shuttle to go a block with just tubes. We rented 2 single tubes (no doubles available), along with a tether cord to keep us tied together. The floats had bottoms and drink holders. Life vests are included in the rental and waivers must be signed at the rental office, so give yourself time before their cut-off to get in, geared up, forms signed, and ready to take off. The drop-in point is near the covered bridge and it is really beautiful on the creek. The water is clear and fairly shallow, but we didn't get hung-up on any rocks or shallows. It was about a 45 minute float down the creek to where it dumps into the Etowah River. My favorite part of the float was the creek float. Once you meet up with the Etowah River you'll almost immediately notice a lot of people getting in on the right side of the river. "Traffic" picked up a little on the river at this point. However, the River is so wide that we barely got stuck in spots feeling crowded in. Do keep in mind thigh with a wider, more open, River comes more chance for the sun to beat down on you. About halfway through the float you'll reach an island, which you can go to either side of. You can also beach here to explore, stretch your legs, or take a lunch/drink break. We didn't stop to play as we'd already been on the water about 2.5 hours at that point. If you do the longer float you'll know where to get out because you'll go under a bridge, with tons of sparrows underneath. Then you'll come to a bridge that is gone and there is just stones in the water. There's a small ramp area to the left behind the old bridge. That's where you exit and meet the shuttle to go back to your car. Tips: bring your sunscreen with you, even after applying before leaving on your adventure. We were told the float would be about 2-2.5 hours. It actually ended up being 4.5 hours and we got badly sunburned, one of us more than the other. Which brings me to the next point that I've learned several times tubing- ALWAYS ASK THE PERSON ON THE SHUTTLE HOW LONG THE FLOAT ACTUALLY IS. I've had this happen several times where the person renting the equipment tells you a certain time frame or instructions for exiting and you find out later the float is longer/shorter, or their were better descriptions for the load-out point. There is no bathroom at the rental house, however, there is one at the park across the street. There is not a store or anything very close by to get cold drinks or food so plan your trip and grab those items on your driver over. All in all, we loved our float with Euharlee Creek Outfitters. We will do this again but will be better prepared by bringing extra sunscreen and cover-ups with us.

Sketch at best. I feel misled and quite frankly cheated. Called to request service to install brake…read morepads on a Can Am Spyder, and was quoted 1.8 hours for the front and another 1+ for the rear. Parts could be my separate responsibility, so I would only have the charges for labor. The relevant information that was conveniently left out is that the labor fee is $170.00 per hour! Upon arrival for my appointment, I was quoted an additional $403.00 for an oil change. Next, they tried to tell me that my engine light was on (it was not, nor has it ever been) and that it would be another $136.00 for a diagnostic. Really?!?! Overall, I was there a little less than 2 hours, so the quote was not really accurate or honest and I am completely dissatisfied with the spiel. I will not be back, and definitely would not recommend this business to any family or acquaintances. A word of advice, if you decide to go to Extreme Propulsion, be sure to clarify and quantify each and every step of the process. Good luck!

My 6 year old son loved swimming in this family-owned lake with a little bit of a sandy beach but I…read morewas much less impressed. The best part for him was a little jumping platform in the middle of the swimming area, which he cannonballed from again and again. "No diving" is stenciled on the side of it, but all swimming is at your own risk with no lifeguards. He and his 2year old sister also played in the sand with the bucket and shovel we brought. There was plenty of free parking and a small concession stand with snacks available and a friendly lady working it who also sold us our tickets. That's where the positives stop. One of the very few rules was to use an ashtray but clearly not everyone did. And I didn't go into the bathroom but my husband, who generally is far more positive that I am, described it as "makeshift" with a sink and a toilet and just a wall for privacy (no stall). When I asked if they were clean, he gave me a so-so hand gesture -- this during the Covid-19 pandemic with no mention of it anywhere on site or on their website. The water was a little gross with floating and sunken vegetation along about half of the bottom. But the grossest of all was the goose poop along the waters edge. When we arrived, someone was at the water's edge raking vegetation out of it, but just left it laying along the shore next to the goose poop. Why bother? Finally, on our way out, my son and I both were having trouble with getting the water to come from the outdoor shower with more than a trickle. An older woman opened the door from the concession/admission booth and admonished him not to break it -- "We just had that fixed!" My husband walked up and said that it was designed wrong, making it difficult to pull. So next time I will save a lot of drive time and about $10 in admission and go a day use area on Lake Allatoona. Sorry, kid.

They sell can drinks, hotdogs and nachos for pretty cheap. There's a gazebo to have birthday parties and picnics at and then of course you can play in the sand and floats in the water. There is a dock in the middle where kids can swim out and jump off. I don't think this would be something worth traveling out to do, but it is a wonderful place to visit if you are already here. We go there 1000 times each summer since it's right down the road. Owners are so nice, and I've always been kind to us. I've never had any trouble here from other visitors.

This sailing club is like none other…read more Friendly people , expert race committee. Meals available by reservation only . This is not a restaurant . Sailing is the focus and others are welcome . Cabins are wonderful get away spots. Members only is the rule here. Motor boating is permitted but remember it is all about the sailing ! Come try!!
