My family was among Park Medical's first patients about 30 years ago, and we always loved the doctors, but I'm so happy to see that they finally upgraded their staff. From the receptionist to the nurses, there is a 100% improvement from the old support staff. Rather than feeling like I'm a bother, I now feel very welcome. My nurse this week was Karen in the Tenafly office and she couldn't have been more accommodating, pleasant, or patient. The week before, I had my blood taken and the phlebotomist was also very nice to deal with. We've been with this group for 30 years and now happier than ever! read more

I went to Park Medical to see their endocrinologist. She was wonderful and took the time to talk to me and didn't rush me out. The staff was also very helpful and sweet. I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Sharon S. Ventura is extremely unprofessional and rude. She acts if you are just there to waste her time. I've been going to Park Medical for years and my experience with Sharon is making me re-think my primary doctor's office. I expressed my concerns but she paid no attention to them. She barely even looked at me but somehow felt confident enough to give me a diagnosis. I feel like her diagnosis was rushed and incorrect so I will now have to go elsewhere to get a proper opinion. I don't know what they feed these people who work in doctor's offices. Dr. Klein was good. Tad arrogant. But that's not uncommon. Friendly. But the people who work for his office. No sense of empathy. No sense of service to their patients. Try the Fort Lee office, which is where my Primary Care Physician is. I was a new patient to the office. I saw a nurse Practitioner instead of a doctor because there was a long wait to make an appointment with a doctor. It was fine . The problem I have is with a phone call. Whenever I call, there is a long wait and I leave a message and they usually don't call me back. It's vert frustrating. I've gone here for years and my doctor has always been a good doctor, but they really need new people at the desk. I asked if my physical could be faxed over to my school and they said they would do it with an attitude...come to find out they didn't. I called back to ask them to do it again and the woman at the desk is so nasty she said she would transfer me and then I literally just got hung up on. When I called back a few times no one answered. Went to see Dr Klein for my Mom. The doctor is very good, but the front office staff is really terrible. They don't want to do any kind of thinking or work to make it easy for the patients nor do they communicate effectively. It's a shame because Dr. Klein is very knowledgeable and has terrific bedside manner, but after leaving the office, it's been terrible trying to get answers from the front office staff. I wish I could give 0 stars. It takes at least 8 call before anyone picks up the phone, and the the receptionist just transfers you to an answering machine. The receptionist constantly gives out false information, is unvelievably rude, and refuses to be helpful. The doctor gave me medicine that made things significantly worse. And when I read about the medicine, it said that someone with my symptoms should not be taking it. read more

Ever since my family relocated from LA, we have been looking for a doctor who speaks korean. We speak ok English but didn't want to miss out any important information. I saw their ad on paper, gave it a try. I was seen by Dr. Lee and felt he is very rushed, and didn't take the time with my visit that I would expect from a doctor seeing a patient for the first time. What is worst is as I was waiting in the exam room I could hear him clearly complaining about another patients business to his staff. I consider it very unprofessional. After my experience, my wife made an appointment with Dr. Hwang instead and her experience was not positive either. he became very nervous and impatient when questions were asked. My wife was rushed out after being seen for 7minutes and he didn't check her thyroid when she has thyroid disease and taking meds. We will not go to Park medical group again and find elsewhere. read more

I love them! I have been to all three locations, due to my scheduling conflicts with work, and have had nothing but good experiences. Dr. Lee is great. He listens and addresses all my concerns. I moved further away and tried looking for another Dr that was closer. I tried one and she did not listen or care about my concerns at all. So I now rather driver the extra mile to see my Dr. I used to be that person that never went to the Dr. They have multiple Dr at their practice, so I am able to see my OBGYN at the same office. The best part is when I show up for my appointment, I have not had to wait. They take me in and the DR sees me shortly. read more

I have been using Park Medical and Dr. Klein for 16 years. I find the service and quality of care outstanding. I recommend him and the office to my friends, family and coworkers. I have only received positive feedback from anyone who has visited the office. I find the staff great. Even if the staff was rude, I would continue to use the office because all of the doctors are outstanding. read more

Stay away from this group, if you can actually get someone to call you back it's a miracle. I am fully aware of the situation with Covid-19 and follow all protocols of such, did telemedicine first, had testing etc etc but when it came to a follow up to find out what is medically wrong, you know since this is suppose to be a physician group, the very last minute they call me to say I can't come in. The first person Melissa I spoke to in Tenafly did not care to listen that I followed the protocols and maybe I had a cold the weeks prior, no she heard what she wanted to hear without answering me and just told me to stay home...I call the Fort Lee office and at first the lady was nice and I went through the whole story with her and she said "you told us you have Covid symptoms or cold" ummmm no I didn't say I was sick now, just following up ....all the while telling them I get my weekly Covid testings and they are all negative...still no one can help me or even still answer the simple question as to why I can't come in?!? They just huff like you are taking up their time, if I ever treated a patient the way they do I would be fired on the spot!!!! read more

I see Dr. Symington for my primary but have seen most of them for various issues. They are completely awesome. Of course everyone in Bergen county knows that and their office is busy. I've never had any issues getting in to see someone. Not only do I recommend them to friends and family - many of them actually use Park medical and rave about them. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. I made an appointment more than a week ago and just received a phone call that they made a mistake, end of year appointments are for existing patients only. I didn't know November was the end of the year. They offered me an appointment with a nurse practitioner who just graduated from school this year. I was told it's not fair to give appointments to new patients for a physical when existing patients are trying to get appointments. WTF your office made a mistake accept your error and don't piss off a potential new patient. read more

Maybe when you're mad, it's not the best time to write a review. I really like Dr. Klein, but I don't really care for the rest of them. It doesn't help that the office can't seem to find test results from two years ago, or when the results of a recent test came back, they only seemed to have one part of it, told me it was all normal, and then I find out several months later, they don't have the other part which isn't normal. So, here I am wondering why I have this mysterious pain when all along I could have had answers. At this point, I don't know who is incompetent, the office staff, the doctors or the imaging lab, but there are definitely people who are dropping the ball. I plan to have a nice little chat with the office manager today. Sadly, they are close to my house and affiliated with Englewood Hospital, but it's just so hard to find a good plain internist!! read more

I always try to avoid making an appointment at this location even though it's only 5 min away from where I live. The receptionist is rude and nasty, in person AND on the phone. I wanted to make an appointment for a physical for my school and made sure to call my insurance before because it wasn't fully over a year since my last physical. The receptionist INSISTED that it wouldn't be covered even though I told her that I had already double checked with my insurance. She refused to listen and hung up on me. The staff should be trained better or they should hire someone who is more competent at their job. The fort lee location is better. read more

The doctors and the office staff were all very pleasant for my many many visits here, but I feel like they simply don't care enough about their patients. Perhaps it's only with the patients they don't know as well? Their offices are very close to where I work, and they were also highly recommended, which is why I went to Park Medical last year. I got extremely sick last spring and ended up seeing four different doctors, and yet all they did was throw antibiotics at me, not really caring at all that I was getting worse and not better. I ended up being hospitalized at one point, where I learned that I was sick from exposure to toxic mold, which had been made much worse as a result of three rounds of antibiotics. Not one doctor at Park Medical suggested that I might be sick from mold. In the hospital, it was the first thing the doctor suggested. I went to Park Medical again recently for back pain. After very clearly explaining that I had severe BACK pain, the doctor I saw sent me for an x-ray of my neck. When lo and behold the x-ray showed nothing wrong with my neck, the second doctor I saw basically threw up her hands and said maybe it's muscle spasms, try physical therapy, wrote me some more prescriptions for drugs I didn't need, and sent me on my way. If you want a competent physician, go somewhere else. read more

The Indian nurse was moody and rude, laughed about me with other nurses while I was waiting for the doctor in the room. When I called and asked about result, she even laughed out very loud over the phone and promised to mail the result, but it never happened. read more

I wish I could give zero stars for this horrible, god forsaken excuse of a doctors office. The front desk people are all to blame. Disgusting attitudes, rude comments and refusal to do their jobs. One instance I asked to speak to my doctor over the phone and they refused- telling me it was a rule I wasn't allowed to speak to her... completely wrong. They're just lazy and didn't want to bother. It was a MEDICAL question and they cared SO LITTLE about their own clients they couldn't even patch me through... disgusting. My most recent incident however was just a few days ago- I called them to leave a message for my doctor, they answered but hung up on me due to "bad service", when I could clearly hear them ... so I called them THREE MORE TIMES and they hung up on me each time declining the call and let it go to voicemail on the fourth. I seriously hope whoever runs this place reads this and has a wake up call- you are losing business. These people should be fired. This isn't some teenage summer job they're working at, they are adults and one of their main jobs is to answer and help people calling with concerns for their own medical WELL BEING. Receptionists are impatient, rude, and full of attitude. Their behavior was inexcusable and uncalled for. I will be a doctor in a few months, and I hope I will never talk to my patients the way the receptionists here have spoken to me. I've been with this practice at least 10-12 years. My doctor is F.Relkin. Front office staff Daniel, Melissa and at times Dawn. All three woman are serious and professional. In my years of dealing with them, they have been nothing short of fabulous. They are informative and knowledgeable. At times they may appear rude but I can promise they are compassionate and caring. Unfortunately it doesn't help a first impression. These woman and the park medical staff at the Tenafly office and unbeknownst to them, have helped me through nine surgeries, sleep apnea, heart disease and severe circulatory condition. This review is based on my experience with Dr. Anand Srinivasan and scheduling an insurance required physical exam. I called to make an appointment and they didn't have any open with the doctor I normally see, so the receptionist booked me with Dr. S. The receptionist was very helpful in getting my blood work done booked and completed before my appointment. Dr. S was simply fantastic! I had been looking for a primary care physician for some time and I am glad I found him. Great bedside manner, answered my questions and even called a specialist while I was there to get an answer to a specific question. I will definitely come back to see him! read more

I would have to disagree with some of these reviews. Not only are the doctors in the office outstanding, but so is the support staff! They are very respectful, kind-hearted, and constantly eager to help. Running a medical office is not easy, and they do an impeccable job at it. I have to say the people at the desk, and answering the phones are RUDE and not helpful, and will NOT let you speak. My husband went to the Fort Lee office originally for what may have been the Flu. He goes there, and said they dont have any more tests left, and than the nurse practioner said oh wait we do we are not using it on the other patient. Well right there made me nervous. Tested negative, she said if he felt worse call back and she will prescribe Tami flu. We call back Fort Lee next morning, he felt worse they told us to come back in, when i asked well do you have any more swab tests left, the woman said oh wait hold on no we dont. Fine i than call Bergenfield location and they have no appointments available that is where we normally go. I call Tenafly because the girl in Fort Lee made us an appointment which i was very happy about. The girl that answered the phone in Tenafly was so nasty when all i wanted to do was ask if they had the Flu test before we go there and waste more time!. She said i was "yelling" at her and i was'nt i just wanted to explain the situation. She put me on hold for 15 minutes, got disconnected, i call back and than no one answered. At this point iam beyond upset and frustrated and just trying to get an answer. I call Harrington Park location, Nikki answered the phone which was COMPLETLEY helpful and nice and apologized, and told me hold on let me call Tenafly and make sure the have one, she gets back on the line and said she put one aside with my husbands name on it. I could not thank her enough. Prior to all this i put 2 CALLS in for the answering service before any of the locations opened for on call DOCTOR. Which they never returned my call. Iam very upset about this, and may be switching to a new practice. VERY dissapointed. read more

I relate to your comments 100%. Dr. Klein is great, but I've seen staff members - and even the Practice Manager fall short of minimally acceptable behavior. I don't think it is incompetence as much as a group of individuals who just don't give a damn. News flash: Patients ARE your business & should be valued! While sitting in the waiting room, I've repeatedly observed other (often elderly) patients being treated as if they are invisible (ignored) - and have seen staff become irritated at routine requests. It becomes unnecessarily difficult to accomplish the simplest task. Return phone calls? Forget about it... Even though I love this doctor - I am seriously considering switching to another practice simply due to their lack of quality staff members. read more

Terrible trying to make an appointment. I'm not one to run to the doctor, so after weeks of headaches I finally decide to call the doctor and I mistakenly called the wrong office and was rudely told my Dr is not at that location. I apologized and called the other location where the phone rang and rang and rang, I was only able to get an answering machine. So I decided to try the other location they said my Doctor works from and the receptionist was rude and said well I'll see if he has any appointments and then proceeds to tell me his first Available is two weeks from now. I stayed home from work today to go to the doctor, and this is very inconvenient so I didn't bother making an appointment! I am sure these receptionists deal with their fair share of rude patients but I did nothing to deserve the attitude I received. A little common courtesy for people who aren't feeling well isn't a lot to ask from the staff at your doctors office. read more

Dr's are good but the staff is horrible and the billing department even worse. If you can get to the Doctor without dealing with the staff, you will be fine. The billing department is a joke, I may bill them for something I didn't perform and give 30 days to pay. See how they like it. read more

Although Dr Moonthungal was thorough and very nice, i cannot believe how disrespectful and rude the staff is. I was greeted by the girl with the "Trust No One" tattoo on her forearm. Nice!!! The woman who drew my blood had bluetooth in her ear and had a conversation on her phone the whole time I was with her. I happened to be nervous. Where is the patient care? The calls always go into voicemail and you don't get a call back. I decided to actually walk into the office to make an appointment and beside me there was an older lady stating she left 4 messages and she needed her results to take to a specialist. There were no apologies and the staff even gave each other looks as if to say "who does she think she is?". I was disgusted at their behavior. I work in healthcare also and i would be fired on the spot if I acted like that. read more

Just terrible experience. Left a voice mail message mid-day when the office was apparently unmanned but never received a call-back. When I contacted them to make an appointment, a rude person provided totally incorrect insurance information and refused to listen to a correction. I used to be a fan, but no longer. It's like a factory. I am never sick and hardly go to the Dr. I pointed this out when I was there last Thursday. I felt like death, left work early(as a teacher this is hard to do). I explained my symptoms and they sent me for some vague blood work. Never asked if I'd been exposed to flu(which I had), mono(which I had), strep(which I had), because, hello? I work in a school! So I basically had to ask for additional tests myself while there, which was received with what I interpreted as snarkiness by all staff. Blood lady was very nice, tho. So I am still waiting for my bloodwork to return while assuming I am not contagious to the children of Bergen County. Anyone recommend a good practitioner that is not in a factory setting? read more
