Rude, nasty, unprofessional front office staff - especially when calling for test results. Will be looking for a new practice. Awful.

Patient Abandonment by Neurosurgeon at Critical Moment…read more Dr. Goldberg evaluated my 82-year-old mother at Englewood Hospital for progressive spinal stenosis with severe neurological symptoms. Dr. Goldberg stated he would not perform surgery at Englewood Hospital due to concerns about post-surgical complications and the hospital's inability to handle them. Dr. Goldberg stated he would sign transfer paperwork anywhere, at any time, by anyone who asks to help facilitate transfer to a specialty care hospital. Then Dr. Goldberg disappeared. No explanation. No communication. No reassignment to another neurosurgeon. I contacted Dr. Goldberg's office requesting he follow through on his commitment. No response. My mother is now mostly wheelchair-bound with urinary retention and inability to move her bowels. She continues to deteriorate by the day. She is currently hospitalized with an unknown outcome. This could have potentially been reversed if Dr. Goldberg had not abandoned her at her most vulnerable time of need. This is patient abandonment. Dr. Goldberg, at my mother's most vulnerable time of need: will you help, or will you abandon her again? If you cannot trust a doctor to follow through on facilitating the care they themselves recommended, how can you possibly trust them to handle post-operative complications? This is a warning to all those who are considering Dr. Jagtiani as your PCP: Please look elsewhere!…read more He was assigned as my PCP through my new healthcare program, and so I thought I'd give him a try before making a final decision on keeping him. Last week was to be my first meeting and consultation with him, but when I got there, he was working at his hospital and the nurse in attendance gave me a semi-physical that included only 3 things: Blood work, EKG, and blood pressure test. Fast forward to today's fun appointment.. I went in to get my test results today and was assured that I was meeting the Dr. for the first time. When he came in, I was expecting an introduction, a friendly hello, something like that, but he walked in, sat down in front of his laptop and said, "Ok, your results show that... "blah blah blah." He barely looked at me, and never even acknowledged a greeting of any kind. This was just the first red flag. Next, while he was going over the blood work results, he told me everything was normal, but that I was now diabetic. This came as a shock to me. I know that it can be developed, but I just wasn't expecting it; something wasn't sitting right with me. Then, he prescribed 2 medications that he said I would have to take from now on.. as in, forever.. Within 5 minutes of meeting him and hearing the diagnosis, he was already on his way out the door. I actually had to stop him and say, "Hey! What about the results of my EKG?" He looked confused and said, "Oh, they came back normal, you're fine." Red flag #2. For the rest of the day, I was on the phone trying to look into Endocrinologists, so that I could sit down with someone and get to the bottom of the results before I started taking these new meds. I couldn't schedule with anyone just yet, but I was determined. Hours later, while I was at home contemplating what my next step was, I looked further into the copies of the blood results that I actually had to fight to get ahold of for some reason, and I came across something interesting. To make an already long story a bit shorter, I found that the last page in my 5 page results belonged to some other patient! My results for the diabetes scale was just fine and it was found on page 3. In essence, this Dr. could've caused me serious harm, and I'm here to help anyone who even thinks of going to see this man. Keep far away, please.
