Don't park at the short term parking in the terminal, they charge for the whole day, but the parking expires at midnight, terrible. Park at the long term parking instead. read more

If you are leaving your car at the ferry and walking on, there is really no reason NOT to park here except for, "The Massey Tunnel was unexpectedly backed up because people in this city don't understand how to merge and I now have approximately 7 minutes to park and make it to the terminal in a photo finish like manner." ... though even in said scenario, I think this place may be faster then the panic park on the BC Ferries lot. Have you SEEN how far you have to run to the terminal?! IN HEELS?! At Park N Go, a shuttle takes you to and from your car to the front door of the ferry terminal and going either way, i've never had to wait longer then 5 minutes to nab a shuttle and get going (with the exception of holidays, which you may have to wait for a second shuttle or sit on a strangers lap). It's $11.50 a day and they don't overcharge you - it's down to the hour. $11.50! That's $7 cheaper a day then the ferry lots and you pay on the way out, so you don't have to fiddle with stopping for cash, guestimate what ferry you'll take home or fumble with telephone payment if you've missed a boat. You get off the boat, you shuttle to your car and you pay - cash, credit or debit. It's painless. Seriously. NO excuse. read more

Park N Go offers a great service. It's way cheaper than parking in the BC ferries lot, and more convenient. No fumbling for change, no running back and forth to your car, no worries about getting a ticket for staying longer than you planned. Because you pay on the way out, you only pay for what you use. The only draw back is there aren't any instructions for what to do, and the staff aren't always helpful, so for the uninitiated it might be intimidating. To use Park N Go, you stop at the first window on your way in and ask for a ticket. The staff don't always assume that's what you want (which is weird...) so sometimes just stopping at the window isn't enough, you may have to actually ask for the ticket. Then you just park somewhere. Any stall you like. Then go find a shuttle. The shuttles don't have a set schedule, but the drivers are aware of the ferry schedule and they are very good at making it on time. Don't panic. If there is no shuttle there, one will show up shortly. On your way back, look for the shuttle in the same place it dropped you off. Find your ticket from when you parked and pay on the way out. Now drive away all smug that you found the best ferry parking hack and laugh at all the suckers leaving the ferry lot. read more

Rude, and lying sob, called one hour before my arrival, was told no problem lots of room, arrived to find lot full and turning away ... well me for sure along with everyone else! Wrecked whole long weekend, could easily had some one drop me off but went with the info provided. Never never ever trust or believe anyone at that facility read more

Huge rip off on a long weekend. Wish I had just taken transit or paid the exorbitant ferry parking rates. Main lot was full on Saturday so parked in last overflow lot. Had to walk in the rain with suitcases and 2 young kids in tow through a muddy field or along busy highway to get to pick up spot. Crammed into a mini bus with suitcases on our laps. The way home was even worse. Massive lineups in driving rain for the return shuttle. No response from the driver when we mentioned we were in the overflow. Crammed into the back of the bus with luggage like sardines in a rounded can. The driver proceeds to tell us that anyone in the overflow needs to get out at the end of the road because there is too much traffic on the road going back (as if there is more now than on the start of the trip). Half of bus had to get off to let us out. Again the unceremonious march now 3x farther in the rain with suitcases and kids in muddy fields back to the car at the other end of the field. Used to use this lot quite frequently and recommended it. Not anymore. Due to unforseen circumstances, i missed the ferry and ended up on the last one out of duke point. I called park and ride to make sure they were open late. I was told they closed at 11. Didn't matter that there were still ferries that arrived after that, they closed the gate. I asked what was i supposed to do? If the lady had been polite about it I wouldn't be so bothered. She was annoyed I was even asking. I asked why do they close before all ferries arrive, when people probably have their cars parked there. She just repeated they close at 11 and that's it. Not helpful read more

Due to very windy weather, our ferry was delayed. The Park N Go bus just left when we got out of the ferry terminal. After some minutes, we called their phone number to remind them we were waiting. Altogether we waited 25 miserable minutes in cold and very windy weather before we got picked up. Next time we will spend a few dollars more and park at the ferry terminal. read more

My wife and I arrived back to Park and Go on the last shuttle of the night on Sunday. When we got back to our car we realise that we had left the lights on for the weekend and the battery was well and truly dead. A fellow driving out of the lot offered to give us a jump start. As soon as he set up next to our car the bus driver came over and sternly told us that the gates get shut at 11:00 sharp and if we are still in the yard at that time then we will have to come back for our car the next day. Our battery was too dead for a quick jump start from a car and it was 4 minutes to 11:00. The bus driver refused to let us try a jump from his much more powerful bus and he kept on harassing us to get out of the yard. In the end we had to push our car out of the lot, to be abandoned by the staff of park and go as they locked the gate and went home. Long story short, my wife and I were alone out side of the park and ride until 1:30am waiting for a tow truck to give us a jump. The bus driver was completely unsympathetic, unhelpful and rude to my wife and I and the nice guy who was trying to help us out. I will never again park my vehicle at that place. It might be a little bit cheaper then the ferry's parking lot, but the treatment we received was atrocious. read more

I have parked here before with no issues, but over the holidays I used the park and go service which was nothing but a headache. I arrived in the parking lot at 1105, was waiting in the bus stop shelter at 1110, assuming the next shuttle would arrive around 1120. There were 2 shuttles sitting in the parking lot not going anywhere, yet I was still sitting in the bus shelter waiting. Around 1140 the shuttle drove off to the terminal without picking anyone up from the shelters. By this point there were 6 people waiting to go to the terminal, most of them attempting to catch the 1200 ferry. I called park and go 3 times and they kept saying they didn't know where the shuttle was. The shuttle didn't arrive until 1155 and we got to the terminal at 1200, meaning everyone on the shuttle missed the 1200 ferry. I will no longer be using park and go as it is not work the stress and messed up plans by missing the ferry. read more
