Clearly she gets a kick back if I go on it. At the end of my appt she told me there wasn't enough time for my breast exam. 2. Same doctor takes weeks to respond to prescription refills and referrals for pediatric eye care 3. Other OB doctor took several weeks to respond to my daughter's potential health concern regarding her pregnancy. They finally called back after several pleas for results. Causing undue stress on a pregnant mother. 4. Makes no difference if you have been their patient for 20+ years-you can't get in to see your doctor My family and I are now shopping for new doctors.

I never did see a sign that identified the building as 3800, I went to another address and figured it out. * There are various parking lots with signs telling why you can't park in that lot. *It was a walking maze, I met a woman who was clearly disabled as she could not find a handicapped entrance or easy entrance. * Inside I thought I would look for a cafeteria for a later stop, a few signs said they had one but wasn't clear where it was. Finally saw a sign that said it closes at 1pm. That's still lunch! * Restroom, just tried one, door lock didn't work properly, No soap in container, No hot air dryer, paper towel dispenser out of paper, no hot water. Oh yes there is sign regarding "clean hands are healthy hands". Found my waiting room which was pleasant and quiet and decorated in soft tones. Not much waiting, (I spent so much time trying to find my way it was getting late). I saw a specialist for a not to serious matter and felt rushed. I don't think I spent more than 12 minutes in his care. No one saw me out of the room.

I checked into the Urgent Care at Park Nicollet, where a very helpful person asked if I'd like to check out Smart Care. She said it was a new service and virtually no wait (v. the long line at Urgent Care). I thanked her and trudged a short way down the hall. Honestly, that moment likely changed my life, or at least my health. I was treated quickly and expertly and have since made Smart Care my primary provider. I've stopped in for vaccinations, treatment for muscle strains, more stupid sinus infections and have always felt that I received the best care possible. I can easily reach out to them through the MyChart website or with a quick phone call to see if an office visit is necessary. The whole team is friendly and knowledgeable. I always feel as if my concerns are heard and acknowledged. I recommend that anyone looking for a primary care team check this out!

SmartCare by Park Nicollet offers much lower prices, but dramatically limits you to providers within the Twin Cities metro area. Even then, many physicians (including my long-time primary care physician) who work for Park Nicollet are not part of the SmartCare program, which tends to rely on Physician's Assistants (PAs) for primary care needs. I've never been impressed by doctors with diplomas, at least outside of specific surgical expertise. I know many PAs whose expertise rivals those of general practitioners. For 90% of us, you don't need a doctor to diagnose your sore throat and prescribe meds. (In fact, an increasing amount of primary care is *finally* being made accessible through virtual visits.) It's been an active year for me, medically at least: two total knee replacements; a few asthma complications that required medication adjustments; a fun visit to the foot doctor to see if he could help level out my leg lengths after the first knee surgery; pre-op and PT visits for the TKRs; a lovely colonoscopy; and a few other visits I think. All within 10 miles of my Plymouth residence. Next year I probably won't go interact with the healthcare system more than a few times. Only nitpick: The appointment scheduling lines are consistently understaffed to handle call volume, so wait times of 30 minutes are not unusual. Ideally you can use the website to schedule an appointment, but sometimes you need more assistance.

Dr biel is one man that hasn't let me down. He has found a way to give me the care I needed every single time and took the time every single time to be thorough, to listen, to ask questions and to record every relevant detail. He has a lot of experience dealing with health challenges such as cancer and is well informed on alternative as well as conventional medicine. I highly recommend Dr. Biel. And have much gratitude for him today! I have seen him over 15 times for my care and quick check in. I also saw the chiropractor across the way and highly recommend their services and care. After I stopped the treatment, the acne is still there but not as severe, the hair is still growing and I am loosing the weight slowly. I ask several time in the first consultation about side effects. Nobody said a thing about facial hair and they said i would probably loose weight. Great experience at this Urgent Care! I dropped a dumbbell on my foot and needed to get it checked…read moreif it was broken. We went right when it opened and got in a room right away. All the staff was wonderful - I tend to be a little jokey/silly in these situations and they definitely lightened the conversation with me. Definitely helped me keep up my spirits since it was 8am. I was taken right away for X-rays, which took probably about 15-20 minutes. Within 5 minutes of being back, the doctor stopped in for results. I was very lucky to only have a bad bone bruise. The best part about the Dr. was that he gave me alternatives! I needed a surgical shoe and possibly crutches - but he recommended Birkenstocks being more worth my money if I would wear them since they're built the same as the shoe. He also recommended borrowing crutches from someone my height or checking goodwill before buying them from the hospital (since I wasn't sure if I would need them after a day). Overall, I was out by 9am and loved the staff. I always frequent this HealthPartners but this is the reason I always book doctors here!

About one, maybe two minutes later, a woman named Yadira (forgive my spelling, my legs were swelling at this point and it was difficult to concentrate at all.) comes in with a note. She says that my care coordinator from HealthPartners had called and said I had to either go to United in St. Paul or an urgent care in Stillwater. I live in St. Louis park, that's completely on the opposite end of the metro, and as rush hour is about to start. I explained I couldn't be turned away, I was having an allergic reaction. Even though I am on restricted insurance, law dictates that we have to be seen in the case of an emergency. So, after leaving, I get a hold of Andrew from HP, he was just as confused as I was. He didn't call. He never even called the woman. I drove halfway to St. Paul and then I realized it wasn't safe. A moment later, my primary care doc calls and says that they cannot do that legally. They filled out a referral for that facility just to satisfy their paperwork. I went back because my doctor told me to. She said in no uncertain terms, "do not go home. You're having a reaction. You need to be seen today." I check back in and express my displeasure and disappointment. I explained the situation to them and the receptionist doubled down and said they have the right to refuse service. This is the actual note she gave me before she told me I would not be seen the first time. She lied, straight up. Not only did she lie, but she thought she was more qualified to make medical decisions than a doctor. I really can't wrap my head around this. She told me she was going to call security. I don't mean to sound like some old lady clutching their pearls, but never in my life. The handwritten note and the lie are what get me. I went to the hospital down the road which is extremely stressed on resources. My reaction could have been treated and should have been, at the urgent care level. I was trying to save myself and the health care system a lot of undue harm. Not only was it illegal what she did, but it's also just plain wrong. I realize it might not even matter, but I will absolutely be submitting a formal complaint. Who passes a note like that? I wouldn't even break up with my second grade girlfriend like that. There's a base level of respect and care that I feel all peoples are entitled to, today, that mark was missed by light years. I'm not a sue happy person by any means, I think there are so many unnecessary cases that muck up the system, but what happened here today exposed her and her employer to tremendous legal liability. It's not even about that for me though. I'm just in awe is all, I've never seen someone torch their job so vigorously. After she said she was calling security, her frown turned upside down. I'm glad I could make someone's day. In conclusion, if you're having a serious health problem that could become life threatening if not treated for a time, I would avoid this place. At the end of our exchange, the receptionist said, "They don't treat anything here anyways. They basically take their vitals and that's it," she said. As if she was trying to convince me I didn't miss out on anything. I hate this. I only like writing good reviews. I need to advocate for myself and this is part of that process.

The they brought me back into pre-op and my nurse Nicole was AMAZING and they put in my IV and my anesthesiologist came in and was super cool, Dr. Potter. Then I don't remember much after that, except waking up in the recovery room and they decided to keep me overnight. The night nurses were great and I had a breakfast sandwich for breakfast, which was actually pretty good. I did some PT and OT before checking out and they were both fantastic. A great experience overall, with super caring nurses and doctors.

I had a 10 hour cervical surgery on a Wednesday and got to my room at 8:30 pm. The next morning (Thursday), the discharge nurse came to talk about releasing me on Friday. I told her my pain was not under control. They did release me at noon on Friday because I passed PT and OT and "upped" my Oxy for pain management. (I really felt like I was being kicked out, and was not given enough information on what to expect going forward.) My pain shifted to my back on Saturday and I ended up in the Methodist ER for 6 hours. They just gave me the same pain meds I had been prescribed and wanted me to take an MRI. I couldn't even lie still I was in so much pain. At 2am, we just walked out without any resolution. It was also a HORRIBLE experience.

My father passed on Sunday, September 2, 2018, after experiencing a heart attack during a physical…read moretherapy session. He stopped breathing and suffered brain damage from a lack of oxygen. When the EMTs arrived, they physically stabilized my father, but they didn't arrive at Robbinsdale North Memorial until an hour later. He spent a few hours in the ER, before being transferred the hospital's Intensive Care Unit. Upon hearing the news, I took the first flight back home and arrived around 1 am to see my father in the company of my shaken mother and a couple family friends. I wrapped my arms around my father when I first saw him, and then cried an ocean into his chest. It was the worst day of my life. I'll never forget it Two of the three nights, I slept beside him on a six, maybe seven-foot long vinyl couch where I saw countless physicians and nurses enter and leave throughout the night. They see this so often, I'm sure: Families in pain as a loved one slowly withers away. I never saw any visiting hours posted anywhere. Even if they did exist, though, they knew that they wouldn't apply to me. I love their staff. They never complained, eye-rolled, or seem annoyed when I asked for assistance. When I did ask for extra chairs, blankets, and general assistance with my father -- they did everything I asked, too. I also saw them carefully take care of my father with respect. Every two hours they moved him, so he wouldn't develop sores from staying in one position too long. Even though he no brain activity (known following the first CT scan), they still asked him for permission. I appreciated that. After learning that my father no brain activity following the second CT scan, I spoke to one of the doctors who suggested I remove my father's off of life support. And I did. Once he passed, and the waves of crying subsumed, the head nurse at the time came over to me and handed over several viles with my dad's heartbeat printed on it. I was so touched. I know this hospital has a good number of mixed reviews, but I genuinely thought they did an outstanding job taking care of my father. A time when I felt absolutely emotional wreck, they did their best. I did think they could've done a better job with providing me more information once I arrived (like who were all the staff touching and moving my father), but I won't hold that against them. I'd recommended Robbinsdale North Memorial Hospital's ICU to anyone, but I hope you never have to experience what I did. Other tidbits: * You can buy validated parking tickets in the gift shop ($15 for five). I don't recall the rates, but it'll save you much more money. * Nothing to rave about their cafeteria. * Hospital isn't in the best neighborhood.

Brilliant that does not pay the bills and does not solve the immediate problem at hand. Stay away they have no idea about mental health.

I'll never forget the excellent care for my very bad migraine. The nurse checked my records and sized this mess up quickly. I had a migraine infusion just 6 days prior that was not effective. With a change of one of the meds in this cocktail I did get relief and was able to go home and sleep. I can't say enough able the nurse and the ER doctor who took such good care of me. The rheumatologist was very smart and took an excellent history. She had my labs done a week in advance. This made it possible for her to be definitive in this visit. She pick up on clicking in my right knee, that does hurt often. Allina has their act together. Allina Health Plymouth has become my preferred place for health services.
