This was my first visit to this office and I was extremely impressed with Dr. Das and her staff…read more The staff was friendly and professional. Dr. Das made me feel very comfortable. She explained everything about my condition giving me multiple options for treatment. She took all the time I needed to answer my questions, never making me feel she was rushing through my visit. I was very impressed with her knowledge and experience and feel very comfortable with the treatment option I selected. I couldn't feel any better about my course of treatment and the doctor that is doing it.

Unless you like gambling with your LIFE, I highly recommend finding a different physician/surgeon…read more Dr. Das did my hysterectomy in July of 2024. I hemorrhaged for over 24hrs and almost died. My children almost lost their Mom because of a negligent surgeon. I ended up in emergency surgery late the next afternoon. There was a 12oz blood clot under my diaphragm which did not surprise me because I started complaining of dyspnea hours after the hysterectomy which got significantly worse. I am a flight medic and I knew something was seriously wrong. The attending MD at Advent (Dr. Archuleta) did absolutely NOTHING, nor did Dr. Das. NOTHING WAS DONE UNTIL I WENT UNCONSCIOUS THE NEXT DAY. When Dr. Das was asked point blank by my family while I was still in the hospital and again by me at post-op appts (which we have recorded), she said "There was no sign of bleeding anywhere, I removed approximately a 12 ounce blood clot that was restricting her diaphragm. I looked and looked but didn't find anywhere the bleeding could have come from. Sometimes hemorrhaging happens for no reason. She/you is/are ok now and healing, that's what we need to be thankful for, she/you survived lets focus on that". YOU ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HEMORRHAGE AFTER SURGERY FOR NO REASON PERIOD. This Sunday 10/26/25 will be 15 months since my hysterectomy (emergency sx was next day) and I have had medical problems EVER SINCE. PLEASE, REALLY THINK ABOUT LONG AND HARD BEFORE YOU PUT YOUR LIFE IN HENDERSONVILLE OB/GYN & DR. DAS HANDS. IT ALMOST COST ME MINE. I do not want another woman to endure what I went through, what my children, my husband, my Aunt/Uncle witnessed and went through, and what I am still dealing with almost 15 months later. The first picture below was less than 12hrs s/p hysterectomy - second picture is 16hrs, and the last picture was 20hrs s/p hysterectomy. I NEVER stopped telling them something was wrong and that I couldn't breathe.I NEVER STOPPED REQUESTING LABS AND IMAGING. I was not out of the hospital bed so the hemorrhage was NOT caused by physical activity or anything that was my fault. Das insisted I was constipated (I was unable to eat solid foods for 2 weeks before the hysterectomy due to debilitating pain, nausea and vomiting from what she said were small fibroids) PRIOR TO THE HYSTERECTOMY, she wrote orders for GoLYTELY because why not I guess? She had plans that day so she was in a hurry. It was not until I was left in the bathroom alone and unattended WHILE WEARING A FALL RISK HOSPITAL BAND (Advent Hospital) while the nurse stood outside of the closed and latched bathroom door, and losing consciousness while standing did ANYTHING. I DID NOT JUST LOSE CONSCIOUSNESS ONCE, IT WAS MULTIPLE TIMES before Das or the attending decided to do something more than tell me I was full of shit. I had multiple blood transfusions in the hospital, I am still anemic, I have felt terrible since, and have been unable to return to my job as a flight medic due to the ongoing medical problems that stemmed from the iaterogenic laceration that Dr. Das chose to lie straight to my face about. She probably thought nothing would come from her almost killing me since it has been 15 months that is definitely not the case. She repeatedly lied and refused to hold herself accountable. So, I am going to make sure that she and every single person involved with my care from the second I was admitted for surgery 7/26/2024 until now is held accountable.

I just went here today as a new patient, and first thing the lady at the front desk (blond bob…read morehaircut) was rude and cold. She didn't greet me and just asked for my name like a calculated robot. She the. Proceeded to hound me and belittle me about having a card on file. She basically explained they are about the money. Really?? To where I responded that it clearly isn't about the true care of the patient and their wellbeing, and sat down. She is a terrible free my desk coordinator. She seems better fit for the DMV with her attitude. Then I saw Dr. Jeffries who was super late. The first 5 minutes of my visit was her on her cell phone trying to find a photo of my previous obgyn because she was curious to see if she knew her since she's a part of political group. Ummmm... hello??? She then basically didn't have her information straight about my ultrasound report and was completely wrong about the results. She never listened to me nor was compassionate about my symptoms. She basically undermined my previous healthcare team as she said "well I went to Duke and this is how things are done." Pretty much every other doctor is wrong despite my significant history. She chalked my symptoms up to stress. I even mentioned that we're getting married tomorrow, and she literally LAUGHED OUT LOUD!! She turned around and she goes "I know that's inappropriate, but that's just funny," and judged my fiancé and I for getting married on a Wednesday. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT TO FEEL LIKE YOU MATTER AND PEOPLE ARE CONCERNED WITH YOUR CONCERNS. THIS WAS THE WORST PHYSICIAN EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD!!! They neither are compassionate nor listen.

Although the wait time to see her has been as long as an hour, I think it's worth it to receive the best care. I recently moved away, and I hope I can find a doctor like Dr. Kurtz here.

I…read morehad some really terrible experience with a male doctor that I saw for ten years there and asked to switch providers and was given a very hard time ( this provider then mysteriously retired). I knew I should have looked for a new provider then. I have now been a patient for 13 years and was told recently it was a policy that I was unable to schedule an appointment without paying $50.00 since I was self pay. When I expressed frustration about this I was then banned from making an appointment.. I even called to apologize for being upset and said I would pay whatever I needed to in order to schedule an appointment ( its hard to find a new provider). I was then told I was banned from scheduling and could leave a message from the office manager. I have left several messages each weeks apart and no one will return my calls. Every week I call back and get the same run around. I even called the nurse triage to make sure I have a bridge prescription for my two medications I am prescribed and they will not call me back either. The negligence is unheard of. I have been dealing with this for the past month. Please do yourself a favor and do not use this practice. I have never been treated so terribly by multiple different office staff.

I got a call a week ago to confirm my appointment. I called them back the same day to confirm the appointment details because it wasn't on my calendar for the same time - confirmed the information and hung up. Called back 5 mins later to confirm the address/location, since I noticed on their website that they had multiple locations. I showed up today to the appointment, having driven 40 minutes from Hendersonville on a Monday morning, only to be told "looks like your appointment was cancelled by the patient on the phone". I know the miscommunication wasn't on my end because I clearly called back to confirm the location and had spoken to the same person - typically people don't do that when cancelling an appointment, do they? No accountability or willingness to do anything on their end except schedule me out for another few months. I now wasted valuable time and have to wait more months for another appointment. I am probably going to see if I can find a better place between now and then because of this disappointing experience. Maybe their doctors are good, but an incompetent front desk that costs me time (and therefore money) is something I cannot tolerate. I'm sure they'd still charge me per their "cancellation and missed appointment policy" if I missed a scheduled appointment - it should go both ways, unless they think their time is more important than their patients.
