When we were on holiday in Dublin, we took a walk to take in the sights, but my main objective was to find the car park because it was a different type of attraction. Admittedly, my directions were poor and I became frustrated trying to locate it. Hopefully this listing will be of help to others trying to locate it either for its intended use (parking), or to admire the huge street art murals! (Note: in Dublin 8.) The Tivoli Car Park is unique in that it's a beautiful showcase of street art tucked away from the bustle of the city. I love the juxtaposition of urban street art against the backdrop of the surrounding neighborhood, including old architecture. The art was so unique, colorful, and impressive! We spent a good amount of time admiring and photographing the murals. The weather was beautiful, too, which added to the experience. You wouldn't know it existed unless you happened to look for parking in the area, happened to walk by the car park and noticed a mural peeking out, or you intentionally looked for it. It's something to appreciate, and I recommend people take a look while in the area!

It's got everything you could want in a car park and more. Let me break it down for ya. - €3/hour parking - cheapest I've found in the city centre so far. (the search continues...) - Really wide drives / roads / paths (what are they called in car parks?!!) - Lots of space within the individual parks - You can stick your credit card in when you enter, and again at the end, which means you never need to queue at those blasted machines again, or lose your ticket - Free parking for the first hour if you shop in Dunnes - If you shop in M&S, you can pull up to a specific parking bay, call down to the shop, and they'll bring your shopping straight up for you, so you don't have to do all the 'lugging' - Free buggies on loan from the customer service area in the centre if you want to ferry lazy, sorry tired, kids ;-) - Free battery charging service for your car, if you're a greenie electric lover - Free tyre pump service. How good is all that?! Minus points though for the following reasons: - No lovely aul fellas sitting in a little hut waitin for a chat (I salute you Trinity) - No numbers on the spaces as far as I can see. Very very bad for a severely directionally challenged moron such as myself.

Its most-unique greenhouse architecture allows so much natural light to come through the glass roof. I absolutely loved the look of it. We took a stroll through all three floors. Having never been to the country, I was unfamiliar with most of the shops, but I took note of the few I recognized (Boots, TK Maxx, Claire's.) We were momentarily tempted to try the Chinese restaurant upstairs but thought better of it. Restrooms are also located on the uppermost level. Not super bustling, seemed to be going the way of most malls. And although I wasn't taken by any store in particular, I enjoyed the structure's design & seeing what a Dublin shopping centre has to offer.

They also do overnight parking for €10 as far as I know. The other plus is that there are always spaces here, no matter what. (although some can be relatively tight!) Also - a strange thing happened me the other day which makes me rate them more. I dropped my parking ticket and didn't realise until I got back to the car park. I walked to the little hut where the attendant sits and told him. After a bit of banter, it turns out, he was walking through Stephen's Green, saw the ticket, and took it back to work, thinking someone was bound to claim it. Enter me! After giving it back to me, I told him how relieved I was cos I was sure I was going to get a fine and a half. The old dude said; "Ah sure we wouldn't a done that to ya!" Maybe he would have and maybe he wouldn't, but either way, I left with a smile on my face.

I was already late for an appointment and decided to park here instead of Brown Thomas as I thought it would save some time. Wrong, wrong and wrong again. This place is so badly laid out and such a labyrinth that it took me even longer to navigate the levels and find a space, I should have kept going to BT's. Parking here is chaotic and the parking machines did not take coins and the machine in the Stephens Green center was broke. Unless every other space in Dublin is full I will never again park here.

They have a fantastic overnight rate (€5 if you prebook online) & as I live nearby and would never leave my car on the streets around it (I walk to work over the shattered glass of car windows every single morning) when I have it in Dublin I take advantage of this 2. The staff there are professional, friendly & go above & beyond what they have to do - I managed to book my last parking for the wrong date & they sorted it out for me with no hassle or weirdness at all. I was fully expecting the 3rd degree and to be told I'd have to pay the normal overnight rate (€2 per hour) 3. Leading on from the staff being fantastic - they keep an eye on cars. The last time I stayed there my handbreak decided to act the maggot when I was gone & I came back to rolls under the wheels of my car to stop if sliding backwards. I actually dread to think what would have happened if they hadn't noticed the issue and sorted it out.
