When we were on holiday in Dublin, we took a walk to take in the sights, but my main objective was to find the car park because it was a different type of attraction. Admittedly, my directions were poor and I became frustrated trying to locate it. Hopefully this listing will be of help to others trying to locate it either for its intended use (parking), or to admire the huge street art murals! (Note: in Dublin 8.) The Tivoli Car Park is unique in that it's a beautiful showcase of street art tucked away from the bustle of the city. I love the juxtaposition of urban street art against the backdrop of the surrounding neighborhood, including old architecture. The art was so unique, colorful, and impressive! We spent a good amount of time admiring and photographing the murals. The weather was beautiful, too, which added to the experience. You wouldn't know it existed unless you happened to look for parking in the area, happened to walk by the car park and noticed a mural peeking out, or you intentionally looked for it. It's something to appreciate, and I recommend people take a look while in the area!

A Seafood Festival was happening when we were there so it was crowded. If you take the city bus m, it drops you at the top of the cliff walk and you can walk back down. We ended up walking up and catching the bus back to Dublin at the top. The trail we did was the easy one. It went through residential areas for the first half. As we got further up, we could see some of the views. When you get to the top, the view are amazing. You can see a lighthouse and the Eye of Ireland island. The trail was moderately strenuous. A restaurant/bar is about 5 minutes from the top. A parking lot is at the top. You can walk down on different trails. Some trails are along the sea. A small convenience store is across from The bus stop. We waited about 10 minutes for the bis.

The scenery was gorgeous, with lush green foliage surrounding the path and beautiful purple and yellow flowers blooming throughout the hike. The trail was well maintained and easy to enjoy at a relaxed pace while taking in the incredible coastal views. There were so many perfect spots to stop for photos and simply appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and fresh ocean air. If you enjoy nature, scenic walks, and beautiful seaside landscapes, I would definitely recommend this hike. It was such a memorable experience and a perfect way to spend a day outdoors.

It is very…read moreconveniently located right on the main street in Ranelagh village, smack bang in the middle of the cluster of restaurants and takeaways around Superquin. At just €1 per hour or €5 per day, it beats the extortionate disc parking charges in the area, and is much cheaper than any of the city centre car parks too - it would seem a great idea to me for anyone working on the southside of the city to park here for the day and walk the rest of the way into town.

As a tourist location, this station has catered very well for incoming tourists with some great local maps and guides on what to do. The downside here is that the ticket office is not staffed all day, there is a small window during the early hours which it opens otherwise locals and tourists have to rely on just the one ticket machine, not so great when ye can see the train is due in 1 minute and there is a queue for the machine :-( There is a park n ride at this station which offers a daily rate of €4 or like me who uses it a lot, I buy a 30 day parking ticket which is €30 which is a bargain! They have removed the bike lockers which were once just inside the parking area so now it's back to locking your bike at the designated bays however note, the cctv for the station does not extend to cover this so if like me, you park your bike up, its still as vulnerable as anywhere else in the city!

It's got everything you could want in a car park and more. Let me break it down for ya. - €3/hour parking - cheapest I've found in the city centre so far. (the search continues...) - Really wide drives / roads / paths (what are they called in car parks?!!) - Lots of space within the individual parks - You can stick your credit card in when you enter, and again at the end, which means you never need to queue at those blasted machines again, or lose your ticket - Free parking for the first hour if you shop in Dunnes - If you shop in M&S, you can pull up to a specific parking bay, call down to the shop, and they'll bring your shopping straight up for you, so you don't have to do all the 'lugging' - Free buggies on loan from the customer service area in the centre if you want to ferry lazy, sorry tired, kids ;-) - Free battery charging service for your car, if you're a greenie electric lover - Free tyre pump service. How good is all that?! Minus points though for the following reasons: - No lovely aul fellas sitting in a little hut waitin for a chat (I salute you Trinity) - No numbers on the spaces as far as I can see. They have a fantastic overnight rate (€5 if you prebook online) & as I live nearby and would never leave my car on the streets around it (I walk to work over the shattered glass of car windows every single morning) when I have it in Dublin I take advantage of this 2. The staff there are professional, friendly & go above & beyond what they have to do - I managed to book my last parking for the wrong date & they sorted it out for me with no hassle or weirdness at all. I was fully expecting the 3rd degree and to be told I'd have to pay the normal overnight rate (€2 per hour) 3. Leading on from the staff being fantastic - they keep an eye on cars. Side note-I didn't notice the smell others spoke of. Either they fixed the issue over time or since we came in cooler month of November, the stinks weren't marinating. Who knows!

Airside has Smyths, Harvey Norman, Woodies, Petstop and lots more shops as well as a hotel across the road and a few large car dealerships. There is also the famous Wrights the big nightclub there which i was once at but i found it too pretentious. I have been a few time to the retail park but it lacks a decent restaurant after an afternoon's shopping; the big McDonalds drive-in does not attract me although i think there is a starbucks somewhere there?
