The gift shop is jammed full of beautiful goodies to suit all tastes with everything reasonably priced and goods displayed beautifully.At this time of the year they stock some lovely Christmas goods,not just the usual tinsel and baubles but some unusual hard to find decorations!! We cannot let this happen, we must support our local establishments. Without the postal system, how would housewives have affairs? How would charities give you free pens? This little Post Office has been undergoing a makeover for a while now. The church hall in which it…read moreis based has been renovated and modernised is hoping to make the most of the tourists by having a little cafe. For all us locals it is a real help. A large part of the community is made up of farmers who already live a fair way out. There are also a few older people in the village and its somewhere we all use at times to sort out basic things and get our mail sent. They also have a little store so you get basics that you may need or stock up on the sweets. Its very much part of the community and you can meet some real characters. Shame its only currently open for 2 hours a day.

I've often gone up with lots of parcels to post, and they've been very patient with me - even if I'm holding up a long queue of customers! It's located on the main road in Tonna, with plenty of roadside parking in front of it. There's also a small convenience shop in the front of the post office, which stocks lots of the daily essentials that you'd expect to find, as well as newspapers and magazines.

Would you believe it, my nearest Post office is a 10 minute walk, or a 2 mile drive. I now live in…read moreCoed Dyffryn, and the Lewis street Post Office is a short walk away using the bridge that passes over the A4059. Can't be bothered to walk or maybe you're disabled, the drive takes you to the free parking just out side of the Post Office building. Mind how you go! Da bo chi.

Staff are all very friendly and willing to help you with any problems you may have.
