Came again for another stay and obviously choose the James. We got the suite and it was HUGE! The…read moreroom came with a small kitchen which included a nespresso coffee machine, a mini fridge, an ice maker, and enough wine glasses (hint hint). You move into the living room with enough sitting for a family, a patio, and an excellent size TV. The main bedroom has a walk in bathroom (with a tub for 2), king bed, and TV! The views of the bridge and river are stunning! The 2nd bedroom had a TV, queen, and 2 closets. Another bathroom to the side filled with L'Occitane products. The service is exceptional. People were incredibly friendly and opened our doors at even chance. We used the gym (not the greatest but will do in a pinch), the bar (service was excellent), and their free breakfast (a chef is there to create your dish).

They gave me a one bedroom suite ... sweet! The tub was perfect! The bed was comfy! All the suites have a balcony and I had a river view. The room had complementary bottled water, WIFI (it was speedy) and parking. There was a Keurig in-room brewer with coffee, hot chocolate and tea, and an in-room safe in the closet. There is a mini-fridge stocked with pop and alcohol and treats (cookies, nuts, etc.) ... you pay for what you use. There is a bar in the lobby and you can order food. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. There was also a complimentary full hot breakfast ($18 if you are a non-guest) with waffles, eggs, sausages, potatoes, ham, muffins, croissants, etc. There was also a chef who will make you an omelette. I stopped in there on Wednesday and had ready-made scrambled eggs, turkey ham and fresh fruit.

I spent last night at this hotel…read more The room ($189/night) isn't huge ... the bed is REALLY comfy! My room is across from the "Associates room" (maid's supply room) so from 8am onwards the door was constantly being opened and closed very loudly ... very annoying if you are trying to sleep in or work. It seemed like it was very 20 seconds!! WIFI is free. There is a safe in the closet. Parking is $15 whether you park your car yourself or have it valet parked. Considering how cold it was, there was no incentive NOT to have it valet parked (my rental car was parked in the garage rather than outside ... which means I could get it in five minutes rather than 15 minutes because they didn't have to warm it up as long). There was a fridge in the room but it was locked since it was stocked with water, juice, liquor, etc. (I didn't bother getting a key). There is no microwave oven but the girl in the convenience store popped some popcorn that I'd brought for me (thanx!). The fella who checked me in was very friendly and chatty. There are a couple restaurants in the hotel ... a steakhouse and a more casual one called Windows. I had breakfast at Windows this morning. I ordered two fried eggs, home fries, toast and Canadian bacon ($14) and a glass of milk. Everything was cold and I didn't have time to have them fire up another breakfast. There is buffet for $15 ... that must have been where my breakfast came from. Hungry and not happy :( I was happy with this hotel and would have stayed here again ... until the the noise of the Associates room started and my breakfast was cold. If I'm back in Saskatoon, I'll stay elsewhere.

The rooms were clean, organized, and well kept. I love the breakfast club on the 8th floor, a wonderful view to start the day. The lovely lady serving breakfast is extremely sweet and kept us full and happy. She's very welcoming and brought me soy milk when I told her I can't drink dairy. The water slide is definately a must! Just don't try to compete with teenagers, their bones aren't as brittle as some adults. I think I fractured my ribs when they doubled dare me to go with them. I can't cough or sneeze without crying like a baby. I met a couple of wonderful people at this hotel and hope that I'll meet them again. I wished I dined at the restaurants on the ground floor but our time was limited. I'll definately return!

The Hampton Inn is located off Airport Dr off a tiny street between 45 and Cynthia barely a click…read moreaway from the terminal building at YXE airport. I'll be honest my previous impression of Hampton Inns were motels off interstates in the middle of nowheresville, USA. I've been to so many hotels on the continent from this brand to that brand and never really gave them much more than a moment's thought. Wow was I ever WRONG. I was so wrong I'm not ashamed to admit it and I am overly impressed with this hotel from the check in, cleanliness, politeness of the staff to the overall ballerness of this room which for me is only a single night stay close to the airport for a really early flight out. The check in desk even called me back about 10 minutes after settling in to ask if everything was to my satisfaction. What makes this hotel stand out like a diamond in the rough? It's always, the little things. The little things that make things better and just add up to an aggregate kick ass place. Some of the things I see in this particular hotel room are little pluses such as: -textured wallpaper -wooden hangers I can take off the cross bar! -modern stainless lamps -a large Samsung HD tv (50"?) -a bright large bathroom with a gazillion towels -Neutrogena soap products -plugs everywhere for all my electronics including USB ready power -all modern furniture and new rock surface tabletops -multiple tea and coffee packets in room -fridge, microwave, stainless organizer drawers -THICK WALLS -big comfortable couch -King bed -overly spacious room -immaculately clean This room is so clean I feel like I'm the first person using it. The sink didn't have a single water spot. I feel like I'm on a set. The layout of the room is a nice refreshing twist. Instead of the bed being on the side wall it's adjacent to the door and faces the window. While the view is not exactly Manhattan it's a nice clean open view and the room feels as spacious as outside. The space here seems almost unreal. I've been in rooms 1/3 the size in NYC. The vending and ice machine is in a seperate room no where near any guest room by the elevator. This ensures no noisy ice buckets being filled by you. I stayed at the Hyatt in Orlando International airport and those walls were made of bristol board. These walls are thick and I can't hear a thing from any other room which means I can blast my portable Bose speaker and not worry about disturbing a neighbor. Free parking, complimentary internet with my booking, airport shuttle, complimentary breakfast although I'm leaving too early to partake. I mean sure there are many things this hotel has that other hotels may have but this place is the complete package for business travelers. For the price considering how much hotels are in Saskatoon from all my other previous visits this place is so worth it. I don't come to Saskatoon very often but I'll make sure moving forward that Hampton Inns will be on my radar for the future. This Hampton Inn is the nicest, cleanest, most modern, friendliest, professional hotel I've been in a very long time. I can't believe I only paid what I paid to stay here.

Good breakfast, clean and comfortable, although the television service is not up to par.read more
