Most homes have their own private pools, but there is also a central "club" area with a gorgeous community pool. State of the art fitness club with free weights, machines, treadmills, bikes, etc. There are also separate rooms for spin classes, pilates and yoga, etc. They offer personal trainers as well. Multiple restaurants with stunning golf-course views and a beautiful bar. The food options are plentiful and delicious. Service is professional and friendly. Conveniently located within half an hour of downtown Delray. Only complaint is that golf carts and walkers share the same "sidewalk." You just can't hear those carts coming, and it seems like only a matter of time before there is an unfortunate accident.

The live music was the real key for me here, The act was fantastic, he had people dancing and singing along, took requests and put his own flair some classic songs. The rental price includes tables, chairs, access to the back where there's a refrigerator and sink, and use of the courtyard area next door for a cocktail reception. And there's bistro lights strung from the rafters so there's not much decorating you need to do! The space is a vintage gym and it has an upstairs that could be used for a cocktail reception if it were raining or if you have a large wedding. I believe the space holds up to 300 guests but our wedding was about 80 people which left lots of room for dancing! You are able to bring in all of your own stuff from a DJ to Catering to Alcohol which helps reduce costs. The space is white with light hardwoods and some teal accents. And it's obviously an old gym with basketball court lines on the hardwoods. Since there wasn't an event the day before ours, we were allowed to set up everything the day before so the day of the wedding wasn't stressful.

The venue itself is just gorgeous, when I walked into the beautiful (air conditioned) barn for the first time I actually had tears in my eyes. If you are looking for a country style venue with class and SO much CHARM, this is it. All the decor was included (although you are welcome to bring your own). They have endless decor options to choose from - table runners/lanterns/plate chargers/florals/greenery/candles/card box/etc...I didn't have to buy any of this! Michelle & Lisa are an amazing team, they are extremely knowledgeable, organized, and friendly. They made sure every little detail was perfect and exactly what I wanted. Included with the venue you are given a day of coordinator (Lisa was amazing).. She made sure everything went smoothly and communicated with my vendors so I could enjoy my day. I honestly couldn't imagine if I didn't have her. They offer packages that include vendors such as catering/DJ/etc, or you can just book the venue and choose your own vendors. Side note - I chose to just book the venue and book my own vendors.. after months of searching I ended up choosing all the same vendors that they would have included to begin with (which were also amazing). I am so grateful to Rayshell Ranch for helping us have the most beautiful day and I highly recommend them.

I just left the hotel after spending two nights there for a staycation. I was very pleased with my…read morestay. The hotel is made of two towers. I was in the southern tower room 5509. It is an ocean-view king room. This means the room is on the side of the building but still had a great view of the ocean. You enter valet on the northern side of the building. The valet Matt was quick, friendly and helped with my luggage. Valet is $44 a day. There was a short line at the front desk but there were two employees working and it went quick. The $45 resort fee covers chairs and umbrellas on the beach and two complementary drinks. You can pick from a small list of drinks including beer, g&t and wine. They also offer a morning exercise routine. Monday was yoga by the pool. The room was large with a nice modern design, a small couch and side table and a nice balcony with two chairs and a table. There was a coffee maker and fridge but no microwave. We ordered room service and had breakfast out on the balcony one morning. There were games setup in one of the meeting rooms right outside the pool and free popcorn was offered daily. The pool was large with plenty of chairs but people did save seats early in the morning. I went down at 9am and there were about five seats not claimed and only around eight people at the pool. Everyone else started showing up to their saved chairs around 10am. The pool did get less crowded with fewer children as the day went on. By 3pm there were more open chairs available. The beach is right outside the gate. Along with the chairs and umbrellas there is a sand pit with toys for the kids, a tiki bar and volleyball net. The hotel is very clean with modern decor. It is in a very residential area so there aren't any shops or restaurants around to walk too. Everything is about a mile south near the pier. It was the perfect place for rest and relaxation which is exactly what I was looking for.

Housekeeping staff are super kind, and anything we needed arrived quickly! The negative: Don't waste your money! We paid $400+ per night (amenities included, valet separate) and found out the hotel sells $45/day passes to non-guests. We had an issue with our room, and the hotel could not move us because it was full. We were told we'd get 2 chairs, access to the private beach, and 2 welcome drinks. No chairs, all 4 days we were there (party of 8). The welcome drinks were gin, non-ach or wine... Service was extremely slow, the pool was overcrowded, and the staff was so cranky/rude that everyone seemed to dislike their job. For a hotel marketed as a remodeled, luxury spa retreat, this was disappointing and not what we paid for. The icing on the cake was waiting 30m+ to valet our car due to the influx of people coming and going, oh, and having to bring our own luggage up and down due to no carts. Spoke with Ricardo about our entire stay, and he just stared at my husband, then proceeded to say, "Well, when you go to Disney on a holiday weekend, it's going to be busy." Sir... when I go to Disney, I know it's going to be crowded because it's DISNEY. You're a Marriott selling $400+ rooms a night and over-crowding your hotel, causing your guests to not enjoy the amenities you're claiming to provide, then when we say we are unhappy, you don't even bother trying to work with us; you looked annoyed. I wish we read the comments before staying because it seems to be a recurring theme.
