There is a open-air patio with outside furniture for visitors to go to. The employees are friendly and knowledgeable. Everything about this funeral home is nice.

First, the stupid nurse at the hospital told me she would watch my baby personally until the funeral home picked him up. She did not. I called the funeral home the evening after leaving the hospital to see if they had picked up my baby yet, but they said they had never gotten a call from the hospital. Even still, they went and got my baby. It was late and they didn't have to do that. I literally cannot explain how much that meant to me that they went and got my baby after hours. I know I wasn't thinking straight, but knowing that my baby was in a funeral home that cared about him instead of the hospital morgue made me feel so much better. Also, the director and assistant director, and literally everyone we came in contact with was so sensitive and supportive of all of our wishes. We even asked if we could see our baby after he had been very warm and decomposing in my arms for a couple days. I could tell it made them slightly uncomfortable, but they let me do it anyway. That meant so much to me. They handled him as if he were a real baby and not just some dead baby doll, like so many others had treated him. Also, when my husband had called them a day after our baby was born, there was some miscommunication that happened, and his death date was wrong on his original grave marker. When I called them and told them that, they came out that same day and fixed it. I had even told them that it was fine if it took a few weeks to do that. But they did it immediately.

He was available for my numerous questions and answered them promptly, We set up arrangements for my Dad, Mom and us. We also recommended him to our recently widowed neighbor. We did have a snafu with recent management wanting to charge us $2000 dollars for a weekend cremation service which is free during the week. Families were given no notice before employees came through and stripped graves of personal belongings--flowers, toys from children's graves, tokens of love, even temporary markers--and tossed them aside like garbage. Some were literally thrown in the trash, others dumped in the woods. These were not "decorations." They were sacred symbols of love, remembrance, and grief. For parents mourning babies, for spouses grieving partners, for families holding on to memories, these items carried immense emotional weight. To have them ripped away without warning is devastating and cruel. The irony is painful: families tried to bring dignity and beauty to their loved ones' resting places because the cemetery itself has failed to maintain the grounds. My grandparents have been buried here for over a year, and their resting place is still nothing but a mud pit. Surrounding graves are caked in dirt so thick you cannot even read the names. Despite repeated complaints, nothing has been done. Families have poured their own time, effort, and money into making these sites look presentable--a place they could actually visit and find peace--only to have management come in and rip it all away under the guise of "making the area look nicer." When confronted, management's excuse has been to point at the fine print in the contract, saying no additional items are allowed at graves. Let's be clear: when families are grieving and making arrangements for a burial, they are not dissecting legal clauses. They are burying their loved ones. And for years, families have seen tokens, flowers, and mementos left at surrounding graves without issue, which created a clear expectation that such things were permitted. To suddenly, and without warning, strip everything away and discard it in the most callous way possible is not "policy enforcement"--it is negligence, disrespect, and a total lack of compassion. Policies do not excuse the absence of humanity. A caring management team could have: * Notified families ahead of time. * Offered a grace period for loved ones to retrieve their belongings. * Worked with the community to create a respectful solution. Instead, Pine Forest Memorial Gardens blindsided grieving people at their most vulnerable moment, and then hid behind "contract language" to justify it. We demand accountability. At the very least, Pine Forest Memorial Gardens should: 1. Issue a public, formal apology to the families they have hurt. 2. Establish a clear, compassionate policy that includes proper notification before removing any items from graves. 3. Commit to regular, thorough maintenance of the grounds and markers so families do not have to do it themselves. A cemetery should be a place of reverence, peace, and dignity. Right now, Pine Forest Memorial Gardens is a place of pain, neglect, and betrayal. What has happened here is shameful, and families deserve better.

The first thing that troubled me was the request for monies up front to begin the job, I was hesitant but Anthony indicated he had been doing yard work for ten years and had his company for three, so I trusted him to be professional and perform the the work as we had discussed and proceeded to pay him up front for the work of weeding, removal of leafs and debris, mulching, aeration seeding and fertilizer First indication something was amiss, he did not show up when he indicated he would on Saturday. I called him and his excuse was vehicle broke down, that he would be here on Sunday. After calling him he showed up at 3:00 with bag mulch. On Sunday he told me he had to rent a truck to get the mulch. I called him Sunday night to cancel the service and get a refund. He said his policy was no refunds. We had no choice but to continue with the services we paid him for. I texted him Tuesday at 1:13 to find if he was coming to do any work. He texted back and said he would be arriving in 13 min. When he got here he had a rented truck with mulch, but the wrong kind again and not enough to do the job.... I had asked for triple shredded hardwood to be laid 3 inch deep around all the plants, I got ground up brown mulch not even an inch deep and not around all the plants. I paid $1143.00 for this service, I would say that I have been taken to the cleaners. Please do not fall for this scam.
