Travel Shop is a convenience store along I-95 and was a good stop today for gas as it had been 330…read moremiles since the last fill up in Fort Pierce a few hours ago. As it is on the Get Upside program, I earned a few extra cents per gallon rebate and that's always nice. This gas station is distributing Marathon products. I feel that it may be tough financial times or who knows maybe drug consumption but it's an unhealthy treatment I would recommend to nobody. If you're on the road skip this place in order to avoid an unpleasant, unprofessional and who knows what other experiences you may run into! Note: I wish I could take a video on the behavior and treatment, here's a small shot I took while leaving in order to protect myself and deescalate any criminal behavior.

My son's car broke down thanksgiving week (a Tuesday). The costs to repair the vehicle were…read moresubstantial and my son did not have the money. He asked Mr. Jones if he would be interested in purchasing the vehicle. He agreed and we drove down to GA from SC to retrieve the personal effects, take the cash and leave the vehicle title. My son asked me to let him handle this. So against my better judgement, I allowed him to proceed with the transaction. This was on December 3rd, 2025. It is now March 14 and Mr. Jones has not paid or mailed the amount agreed on. I sent a demand for payment letter and set a deadline for payment for February 21st. This deadline was not met. I have been in communication since then, trying to avoid filing a complaint in a small claims court, but Mr. Jones is somehow unable to send the payment. Avoid this business at all costs.
