I also spied some lovely looking slabs (!) of cake, but I was saving some room for my own cake making. Was really busy, and my friend who lives nearby said that she often comes in for tea and cake. The shop is equally as nice - with lots of gift ideas, stuff for the home and garden and also practical stuff. Lots of shortbread was visible! Although we walked here, there is also parking but I'm not sure if its free (I would say it is though!). X

There is a nice cafe which serves soups, sandwiches and baking. The food is homemade and really tasty. There is indoor and outdoor seating and there is also a small play area if you are lucky enough to have nice weather. Outside is the nursery section that is fairly large and stocks a good selection of plants. The staff are all friendly. There is plenty of parking at the front.
