Lerici is a charming little town. Amazing location and some good food around.
But it's also a very popular place - rightly so. But that makes parking a bit of a headache. Depending on the season and day of the week you might struggle to get a place close to the waterfront. There's plenty of parking uphill, but down in Lerici it's quite limited.
We came here on a weekday after Easter. Nice, warm and sunny day. Everything pretty packed, but still outside of high-season, so the ZTL wasn't in place on that day. Waited a few minutes here and got lucky and got a spot. Since it was a weekday it was even free of charge!
Parking spots are big enough for SUVs. There's a nice little restaurant next to (with a bathroom in case you need one). Parking is very convenient, a nice little walk a away from the old town. It's a nice stroll along the water. Parking is also very safe, there's always folks and visitors around.
If you get the chance, then this here surely is a prime spot to park your car. Even if it's charged by the hour, I'd come back here. Location is top. read more
