I have even had emergencies over a weekend and the dr will make contact and advise on how to handle the situation. I have also brought a yorkie Maddie that had some major dental issues and they were so good with her.. She needed to stay overnight because she had an extensive surgery so they let me know the vet tech who spent the night with her , I had a direct # to contact if I wanted to check in on my baby.. i was reassured that the Dr was just a couple minutes away from the clinic.. I got another Yorkie BeeBee from Nebraska thru Pet finder and she was having some medical issues from day 1 and they have been so helpful.... They contact you after they have their procedure with updates... And the following day after a visit, they call and ask if you have any questions, they check in on your pup to make sure everything is going well. I do agree that they are on the pricey side but if you were to actually stay there and see what's all involved, which they will allow you to as long as you let them know ahead of time.. I feel these drs and techs don't get shown the appreciation that they should be shown... It's very clean in the exam rooms and the different areas in the back where they do the procedures are in excellent condition.. I am very impressed with everything at Pet Crossing....

I called multiple clinics and inquired to be put on wait list to get my puppy up to date with her vaccines but still had no luck with the other. But here, Dr. Blees was very kind to squeeze us in her schedule. When I met her and Kat the very first time I immediately felt very comfortable and right away you can feel that they are very passionate on what they do. The care and attention they gave my puppy was awesome. When my puppy got spayed it was the smoothest process ever. Dr. Blees herself gave me a follow up after the procedure. Upon picking up my puppy, Emily the vet tech at that time explained post surgery details very well. The following day, Emily gave me a call to check up on Boba which I was not expecting. This shows how organized and very caring team Dr. Blees has. I'm looking on forward to stay here as long as we can. I would definitely drive to this location even if we move away. I had an appointment for my guinea pigs and anyone who knows, they are counted as exotic animals, so they tend to be pretty pricey. Amazingly, I only had to pay $150 for two exams and one teeth trimming. Amazing. I was so incredibly thankful for the team. My guinea pigs would say otherwise, but we are 100% coming back. I think they handled my fur babies perfectly.

They sounded genuinely glad to be meeting a new animal client. They were concerned as to whether or not I would need immediate services. I did not. Since I was switching from another practice they said that I should request my information be sent over and give them the vet info so that they could do the same if they did not receive it (which was sadly a common occurrence but that THEY would do the follow up as long as they could). Upon arrival at the clinic, I called the number provided on the window. A technician helped me with all my paperwork because the front desk was tied up. But the technician sounded like they were smiling. They asked appropriate questions and understood my answers to my questions. We sat in the car instead of in the office. My dog was calm. When we did go in, we went to the back right away. My great big baby doesn't like the floor moving under her so the scale on the way to the exam room was difficult but we could just take the number that stuck the longest. Treats and spray cheese were copious. Everyone wanted this to be a good experience for my girl. She had her physical, and boosters. The Dr. made sure that we humans left with ALL of our questions answered too. Everyone was THE best. They LISTENED, really and truly cared about the animals, the people and the relationship between them. They understood budget needs and health needs...where and how things could be done and when there was simply no other choice. I TRUST THEM!

I DO agree that the front desk staff can be a bit unprofessional. On my most recent visit, it was a couple of minutes before I was even acknowledged. I understand that sometimes a front desk can be a bit busy when you have people checking in, checking out, the phone ringing and animals making things even more crazy. But a quick "Hi, I'll be with you in a minute" would be plenty to satisfy me in terms of customer service. I also overheard one of the front desk staff say an obscenity to another staff member. I don't think anyone was in the lobby at the time besides staff, but I heard it through the closed door of our exam room. On the plus side, I really like the vets and the medical staff of this facility. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and very willing to answer all of your questions. They don't rush you and they take the time needed to treat your pets. They are also very thorough. Even if you are there for one thing, they will notice and mention other things they see or notice. They are very patient and kind to our animals, which is appreciated. We have found their advice and care to both be spot on. They are also very good about asking me before they do something to my dogs, which I also very much appreciate as a protective pet mommy... The annual wellness exams are very cursory. My cat had an unexplained loss of 1 pound over the…read moreyear without intentional dieting or a change in her diet. She was defecating outside the litter box. She was hungry all the time. They were unconcerned about the weight loss and explained the litter box issue on arthritis (not officially diagnosed as such). From bloodwork, my cat was diagnosed with early-early stage 1 renal failure. I was told to reduce her phosphorus intake and come back in 6 months. I was also told she needed to lose another pound (even though the 1 pound already lost was from an undetermined cause) and she was eating constantly. There has been no follow-up from the vet since the exam. I decided to obtain a second opinion, as I found the veterinarian's concern over her issues to be dismissive and the guidance to be lacking. From the results of the second wellness exam not only was my cat found to have stage 1 renal failure, but she also has severely deteriorated eyesight, a heart murmur, and thickening of the intestinal wall. We started a B12 protocol, began transitioning her diet to gentler food to help her kidneys work more effectively and reduce the inflammation of her intestines. She has a follow up in 2 months and the vet has emailed me weekly to see how my cat is doing. Had I waited 6 months for a checkup my cat would have likely died. I DO NOT recommend this veterinary practice.
