Thus far my visits with my new "primary", Debra Chase D.N.P. as well as their lab have been far above and beyond my experience of "typical healthcare" THESE days. Their check in employees have ALL been friendly and knowledgeable, Debra Chase has been attentive and quite up to date on various (sometimes using homeopathic medicine) medical problems, diseases and their treatment and a HUGE plus in my opinion is that they have their own LAB ON-premise which so far has NOT been so busy that I've had to wait once) (unfortunately so many of our local laboratories have closed recently that going to any of the remaining ones in Pueblo guarantees !!! a wait-time ranging from 15 minutes to a full hour). "Touchstone" is an A+ provider in my opinion!

The doors opened and we were greeted to check in at 6:01 am. The process was quick and easy. We did the online check in. Amanda checked us in. Now we are waiting to hear called back the appointment starts at 6:30am.. The waiting area was clean and neatly decorated.we were the first ones in so it was very peaceful and quiet. The tech came and got Kenn at 6:32 am and took him back. He said she was very nice and polite. The test went smoothly and 7:10 we are done.

Everybody was so helpful caring I never had any complaints with them. They always checked on me when I needed it and I'm sorry I didn't send this earlier, but the entire staff on the fifth floor were absolutely awesome . I want to thank them. Hopefully they read this. They do not know the difference between human parainfluenzae (virus) and haemophilus parainfluenzae (bacteria), and will not listen to you if you know. These folks are only into treating certain things. Epilepsy is not their thing, bacteria is not their thing, looking things up is not their thing. So basically, if your kid has anything NOT run of the mill, just hop on up to children's.

Retired RN here. My daughter went to the ER tonight, per another doctors urgent recommendation…read more She is 41 years old and had not needed any medical care for the past 20 years, until recently. She has a caretaker and is disabled, she cannot drive due to her condition so I had to arrange transportation. The female nurses treated her like a piece of garbage. They were talking and laughing about her at the nurses station and my daughter could hear them talking about her private medical information with each other. They were belittling her and laughing, whispering at the nurses station. My daughter wanted to leave AMA and was threatened if she did, they would refuse to provide her with much needed referrals. I called the House Supervisor and put in a complaint for which my daughter was retaliated against for this. Her snotty nurse came in to give her the discharge paperwork and held them above her head with her hip cocked to the side, to where my daughter could not reach them and said in a high pitch snotty tone, "I hear you want to talk to the soup??" My daughter said "who is the soup?" She said "the Supervisor". Very inappropriate treatment, total lack of professionalism. We will NEVER return to this hospital and I will NEVER recommend anyone going there. My daughter was literally treated like garbage and nothing was treated, nothing was done. They ruled out drugs/etoh (she does neither), and was released. Useless waste of time to be treated like a homeless drug addict (not that they should be treated negatively either as we are all children of God), and for them to use the St Mary's name, nothing was sacred with this ER experience. One issue is that my daughter cannot swallow, the doctor never even looked at her neck or throat. The doc never even touched her! What a waste of time and money. She will wind up at different ER/Urgent Care tomorrow as they did nothing for her urgent health issue (no ultrasound, no scope, nothing). I went to school for nursing in 1985 and boy, have things changed. I am appalled by their behavior, in fact, infuriated how they treated my daughter who was taken there in hopes of being placed in good hands. There is no care in this "healthcare" system. Go to Colorado Springs or Denver, it's worth the drive for humane and professional care.

Sadly, Parkview has declined from what used to be years ago a good hospital to a horrible place for…read moremedical care. I was one of their victims, staff improperly trained, understaffed, dirty. They withheld information regarding my illness due to lack of a cardio thoracic surgeon which I needed and they did not have. On further questioning by myself and family I was told one would be coming in a few days. One very honest person who had obviously been there for years told my family if I was his mother or wife he would get me to Colorado Springs, where they have experienced cardio thoracic surgeons who have done these procedures many times. I felt like a guinea pig as unneccessary procedures were done as it is supposedly is a ?teaching hospital. I also developed C diff during my stay which I found out later is rampant there. I transferred that night to Penrose St. Francis, a superior hospital by far in Colorado Springs. I had surgery there and I felt like the doctor there saved my life. I was confident I would have died at Parkview. I gave it a one because of a few good doctors and nurses, otherwise I would have given it a zero! Do not go there if you can go somewhere else.

I was treated with respect and genuine concern for my well-being. My eye suregeon's opinion is that I will require cataract surgery for my other eye in about a year - I cannot imagine why I would go to any other facility to have that procedure performed. He proved his level of knowledge and professionalism when he thought he would need to amputate part of my foot, but his skilled hands & determination were able to save my foot! While in the Hospital, Dr. Kite visited me each and every day. 7 days a week! He made it easy for me to ask questions & he would patiently and thoroughly answer each one. Dr. Kite is is kind & compassionate and I would highly recommend his expertise if you have any foot or lower extremity issues.
