Organised places to get signatures and meet your favourites. All while stopping by the multiple tents to pick up another Guinness! I expected a few more vendors selling their crafts; however, I understand that to do so has become harder and harder. There is an issue with some crafters using a lot of Cheap AI Art or the overabundance of 3d printed tchotchkes. But, a few more selling good items would have been welcome. I don't think there were more food options to choose from. I, of course, chose items that could be considered standard Irish fare. Too much on while watching the shows. It was a good turnout. Only bad experiences were with other goers who just didn't bother to consider that there were people around them. But, that isn't the norm and were few and far between on the 12 hours that we were there! Note: Love the HIGH KINGS!!!

With everything from a silent disco, Bingo, cultural movies and talks, along with a whole area for the kids to play and run. Plus a row of food venders and beer tents. There is also a large area of art dealers and tents. It is easy to get there in the morning and make a day of the event.

For those non-locals like me who haven't been going for 20 years, it's an outdoor free music festival held once a year in Corporate Woods Business Park. All donations and proceeds concessions and such go to local children's charities. What I really appreciated about the event was that many of the concessions were run by local favorites like La Bodega, Jack Stack and Bo Ling's. Don't worry though, you can still get your nacho's and funnel cake for those seeking a some traditional fair food. Beer, wine and sangria also flows aplenty! Live Jazz playing Friday and Saturday night and there's a fun run on Saturday morning. Personally the run is not for me after all the Sangria from Friday night, you won't catch this girl tackling a 5K or 10K. But don't worry runners, I'm here for moral support! I'll meet you for another glass of Sangria at the finish line! Hints - Don't bring a cooler, they aren't allowed as you are supposed to buy the food there. Before you complain remember it's for the kids. Trust me I'm using that line all weekend "I need this kettle corn, it's for the kids!" - Bring blankets and lawn chairs, no seating in the park. Unless you are going fancy and buying a seat ($60) in the jazz pavilion (read: picnic tabled area with while picket fence)! - Bring cash. Enough said. - Come early to stake out your claim in the grass and to deal with parking. How can you not love it? Free jazz, an excuse to relax in the park all afternoon and evening and eat and drink your weight in goodies from local eateries! This might have to be my new KC tradition!

We did preferred parking the first night, opening night…read more line was long to drive in. Sorta unorganized. The entire evening was fun. Shops everywhere food trucks go eat at Irvzilla Hawaiian Food truck is the best!!! come hungry. Tons of food. The lights were very well done and roomy enough for large crowds. Local vendor trucks selling this and that. really was alot of fun, even at that cost. would do it again next year.

It's fun and good for any age group. Definitely something new for Kansas City. Felt like we was in a snow globe when it started to snow. Also, can't forget the Ice skating, it was scary but once you get used to skating, it's pretty easy to skate on. It felt like we're not in Kansas anymore. Felt like we're kids again. The maze was the fun part because there's a scavenger hunt. You have to find all 8 toys missing for the elves. Each gift you find, you can scratch off the card and when you find all 8 you get a special treat at the end of the maze. Didn't get to see Santa though. If you're hungry, there's food trucks around and even a little shopping village if you want to buy something for the holidays. Overall, the experience was definitely worth the money!

Me and my family have went to the Johnson County Museum many times, the facilities are always clean…read moreand the workers are always very friendly, and the children's area gets cleaned everyday from 12:00-12:30. The Johnson County Museum is very good for toddlers and younger kids ages 2-10 but for anyone older I would say that they would get bored pretty easily. Over all the Johnson County Museum is a great place to bring your children on a rainy day to keep them busy I would definitely recommend.

Talk about a fabulous way to repurpose an iconic building in JoCo! The site of the old King Louie…read morebowling alley has given way to the Arts & Heritage Center containing an exhibit better known as the Johnson County Museum. Instead of erecting another concrete monstrosity, JoCo took a piece of its expansion and history to house that very same dynamic. The Arts & Heritage Center itself is a wonderful facility, blending local & regional art, classes, and community space. It also doubles as an election polling location particularly focused on early voting opportunities (exercise your right!). Taking that classic 1960s suburban architecture, complete with stone walls & beams in a pseudo-flying buttress, and turning it into a new piece of the community is a *chef's kiss* of civic planning. Where you once may have tried to pick up a 7-10 split, you now can tour decades of people & progress. The museum itself costs $6 for adults with discounted admission for seniors, veterans, & children. It doesn't take long to get immersed in the interactivity and to get mesmerized by JoCo's storied past. Take in the public art displays or stop into the gift shop for keepsakes of the visit. Virtually every event has been well-documented, notable people are memorialized, and the chronology only keeps moving forward. Northeast Kansas continues to grow and find new ways to reinvent progress, so be sure to grasp the spirit of expansion that has occurred in this beautiful metro area.

I am counting the restaurant ( Oil on Linen ) as a gallery because it features The History of Art by Frederick James Brown. It's a huge series that highlights major artists over the past couple centuries. The atrium is the second gallery that has rotating works and permanent installations. There are four other galleries as well. There are two on each sides of the center. Each of the galleries rotates and has a theme or single artist.
