Went in to look at a trailer on 5/21/23 which per hours stated said they would be open, I drove through the gate as it was open, got off and walked around tried the door to sales office but it was locked. Walked around found 2 trailers open that happen to be expensive units per the website information after walking around for approximately 20 minutes I called the number on the website. After speaking to a representative I find out this locations is by appointment which is not stated on the website, had I not called I would have thought it is going out of business a $80k trailer should not be left wide open and not only that if you do shouldn't the gate to the lot be closed. A few months ago is when I took my trailer in for some work. I haven't used it until today and this is what I saw. I think they ment well, but they were having major miscommunications within themselves from day one. They were supposed to fix multiple items which they did not. Multiple bolts and screws were loose or missing. My slide had loose bolts which could have cause a major failure. Multiple scratches on our finishes. They needed to remove item from the storage to access the panel they did not place back. But evidently left everything outside in the rain. They did not charge me for some of the work due to how long they had it, which I thought was professional, but I think they just did not do the work. A couple of things they did do looks okay. Awesome place - I bought a trailer used at Camping World - but was very disappointed in the service teams knowledge. I heard parkway was good, and called them to ask if they could just run through the trailer with me, I would happily pay a service fee just wanted to make sure the trailer was in good condition. Mason immediately said there wouldn't be a charge unless they worked on it, and he would be happy to run through the trailer with me. I drove down from Bakersfield, and Mason and Alan ran through the trailer with me for close to 3 hours. Issues were resolved, suggestions made, and never once did I feel like an Inconvenience. They didn't bill me, and just encouraged me to come back if I ever need a trailer service. A lot of the RV industry shops are pretty rough to work with, this is an awesome little gem with some solid people working there. I strongly recommend! read more

My Coachman Encounter had the catalytic converter and battery stolen and it needed some routine maintenance like tires and roof coating. None of my "local" RV repair places could do all in one stop until I spoke with Mario and Parkway. Not only did he guarantee he could get it all done he would meet or beat anyone else's prices. He even arranged a he tow, no easy feat since she's 37' long. I asked him to do a full check of everything and make sure the rig was trip ready. She'd sat for a bit so I knew she'd need a little TLC. The even welded a catalytic converter cage so it will be next to impossible to steal again. See pic below. To my surprise the only extras was an issue with the propane tank (leaky valve) and a couple interior lights out. Mario, Don and Blane kept us informed the entire time. Invited us out to see the progress and even allowed the rig to stay an extra 2 weeks because I had to unexpectedly work. :-) I highly recommend them if you need work and are near the Castaic area. read more

Updated: Last week we picked up our RV after service as there was a problem with the wiring (we thought just the outside speaker). This weekend, while camping we had issues with our canopy, so we thought, but in turned out that wires were loose and the board failed. Needless to say. I was able to get a certified RV tech on seen to save us and clean up the mess of spaghetti wires. I'm not certain Pqrway has certified techs. This cost me an arm and a leg . This shouldn't have happened as the service should have wired everything correctly. It should be noted, we have had several issues with this rig and we have had issues with the past service at Parkway as it was a revolving door of techs and service people. It wasn't until Mario was hired, provided consistent feedback and good customer service that I gained some trust back with Parkways service department. The previous techs at Parkway broke the fresh water tank (prior to Mario's arrival), and this time our batteries were completely dead upon pick-up. The batteries still aren't charging completely. We were looking for something small to just hook and go, as we have owned A Class A and a 5th Wheel Trailer when we were younger. We pulled in and this young man came out and greeted us with a smile and a handshake to my husband. His name was Blaine. He was such a great breath of fresh air for a salesman. He took the time and showed us a bunch of different trailers. Did you know they come with solar panels now!!! anyways Blaine was actually off the clock for the day but he never let us know or feel rushed to leave. Eventually another guy walked out to check on us and I realized they were supposed to be closed and waiting on us lol. We said goodbyes and thanked Blaine and said we would be back another day. Blaine asked if he could call us in a couple of days and check in and we said yes. He was just such a great kid! Well he did call and he found exactly what we were looking for. It's called the Mini-lite! It's so perfect! Blaine took us in to meet his boss Mike ( who we felt like we had known forever) he is just so real and honest and joked with us like we were all family!! We got a great deal and bought it! Took our first trip in it 3 days later to Hobsons Beach with 2 dogs and a cat! We were so happy and perfectly comfortable like home. We brought our rv there to have a oil change. It was told to us that it would only take a day or two. Well 3 weeks later and many issues with them we finally took our rv back. They walked all over the inside of our rv leaving oil and grease all over the carpets. They broke the screen door and the latch that closes it. I found Parkway RV to be a fine alternative to waiting 3 months to get a service appointment at Camping World. I brought my motorhome in to get an inverter installed. The technician, Juan, did a superlative job with the installation. It was a complex job as the inverter powers only certain circuits in the motorhome, so new wiring needed to come from to the fuse panel. The installation was a complete success. Juan truly understands RVs and I will be returning to Parkway RV for future work. Also Cindy, the service advisor, is very personable and responsive and will see that the work gets done on right and time. read more

I went in to get my sink and toilet leaked fixed and boy they are friendly at the repair shop. Thank God they were not as busy as they usually are, I was able to get my repairs done less than a week. The repair man had a hard time finding my toilet issue, but he found it and I'm glad that the problem was completed. In early December 2020 I took my Toyhauler to Parkway RV to have the generator looked at due to it sounding like it was ready to blowup, as well as a leak from the fresh water tank. Amanda wrote up the work order and said they would contact me in a couple days. After a week with no response I called to check on the status. Amanda said the generator was fixed and that all it needed was some "TLC." She said the water tank was being looked at and that she would call in the afternoon or the following morning. What followed was almost four months of numerous calls to the business. I was always told one excuse or lie as to why it wasn't ready, and never got a call back when promised. Finally in late March after canceling two previously planned camping trips, I again went to the dealership. I spoke to Nicholas in sales since the service department was closed. I explained everything to him and said I was planning on picking up the Toyhauler in a few days ready or not. Nicholas did get back to me to say the water tank still had a leak and would let me know the next day if it was fixed. The next day Don called and said it had a very small leak and that he would call the next morning to give me a update. The next morning he called and said it still had a very small leak. I told him that after nearly four months of being lied to I felt they had no clue what they were doing and I would be there in an hour to pick it up. He called back and said to give them two hours and it would be ready. When I got there Don showed me the trailer and the leak. I got under the trailer and saw all they had done was put on on new inlet fitting and sprayed some Flexseal. Upon starting the generator it sounded exactly the same. I told him I couldn't believe all the lies I had been given by Amanda and that I just wanted out of there. He said he would take a little off the bill. Bottom line I had to pay $300.00 for doing basically nothing! Needles to say I will never go there again. I can't see how a business can keep operating with incompetent, lying personnel. read more

I have referred people here all the time, but not anymore. We have been going to Parkway Rv for 3 years now. The last three service manager where great, but now no one will return your calls, which means a longer service time that they have your RV. We had an oil change done on our Rv in 2021, which cost $264. In October 2022, it was $368. Now, in July 2023, it was $896. (That is a big difference) That is a price increase of about 174% without letting us know ahead of time. When we went in to pick up the Rv the first time I was told by the service manager my bill was at about $2100 00 but they had not completed all the work so we had to leave it to have the generator service which was the main reason for taking it in in the first place. At that time the service manager said it would be about $300 more. When we picked it up, the bill was over $2900.00 read more

I took my 5th Wheel to Parkway RV in Castaic to have a J-panel replaced which was damaged by a blown-out tire. Mario, the Service Manager, looked at the panel and informed us of the cost. He assured me he would work directly with our insurance company regarding authorization and payment. He did, indeed, take care of navigating through the entire insurance process. Once the claim was approved and the part arrived, it took only one day for the repair, that's right.......ONE DAY. The technicians were very knowledgeable and displayed tremendous attention to detail. In fact, I had them address two other issues (leaking drain & propane connection). Both these problems were diagnosed and repaired in a day, as well. They even washed our 5th Wheel before we picked it up. The entire interaction with Parkway was stress-free. We've always taken our trailer to that other national RV repair place (you know the one that takes weeks to get anything done) never knowing this jewel was right around the corner.
