Twin Oaks Christian School offers an excellent academic experience with a Biblical worldview. What…read moremakes it really special are the teachers, who are there because they love what they're doing, they love the kids and they love the Lord. These kids are challenged, held to high standards, and lovingly mentored by the staff as well as students in the upper grades. The kids get the benefit of a beautiful, spacious facility with windows in every room and a gorgeous sanctuary in which to have chapel every week. Starting as early as Kindergarten, they get to take Spanish, music, art, PE and library. For the upper grades and middle school there is an abundance of exploratory classes, a computer lab, supervised social activities, a worship band and a low student: teacher ratio to enrich learning and relationships. Compared to other similar schools in the area, it's also an outstanding value for your money. We've been very happy with our children's experience at TOCS and I would encourage anyone looking for Christian education to call or visit!

My counselor while I'm here almost called 911 because I got reported for mental health related things and they said I wasn't safe at school, when in all actuality I am much safer at the school. I also got told I wasn't allowed to go on an afjrotc field trip for my mental health and that I wouldnt be safe. I do understand that they are looking out for me, but isn't it a little extreme. Like all my friends are gonna be gone on that trip and I'm gonna be alone at my house literally drowning in my thoughts all because they think I'm safer here. Think twice before speaking about your mental health here because it honestly isn't cared about enough here.

It's an okay school. Went here for three years, and it matched my religion which is why my parents…read morewanted me to go. Some feedback- the dining hall needs to be a lot better. I've had several friends find raw meat, hairs, and even one found an acrylic nail in their food. I personally have gotten food poisoning a few times and got sick from raw chicken once. The discipline system needs to be better. So many kids here that just do a lot of mischief and the teachers can't handle it all, I hope they get more support there. I had many issues with the discipline system here that I won't get into, but a lot of the time I didn't feel very loved here. Only a few adults really ever tried to help me become better or help with the situations at hand but it didn't solve the problems either for a very long time or ever. Some good things- the majority of teachers here are very sweet, love to teach, and have great teaching models. They really try to make sure every student is succeeding in their classes and put out good ideas and encourage learning, even though not all students respect that and abuse it. The trips are fantastic, especially the Israel and Class trips, Israel trip personally changed my outlook on life a lot and I loved it. If you're a Christian Scientist they actively put a lot of CS material into the curriculum and everyday life. If you're not a Christian Scientist, might not be so great. They also just built a huge new sports complex that's awesome. But overall, school is okay, doing better. Hopefully the new management can steer it in the right direction.
