The biggest issue was that they did not go deep enough with the evidence. Despite providing extensive medical records, Blue Button reports, service documentation, and mental health history, the firm did not connect these documents to the legal criteria in a meaningful way. Key facts that should have been highlighted were left out. Important medical notes from my service record were not referenced. They did not weave the hardship evidence into a coherent argument that demonstrated extreme hardship under USCIS guidelines. The hardship statements they produced felt surface-level, almost template-like. They didn't incorporate specifics that any thorough review should have caught. Because of this, I found myself rewriting the statements and restructuring the evidence on my own just to create something that actually reflected our circumstances. This lack of depth had real consequences. Our case was denied by USCIS, which now forces us into an appeal or a full rebuild of the waiver. The time lost and the money spent cannot be recovered, and this denial has created significant stress and uncertainty for my family. I don't expect a guaranteed approval from any attorney, but I do expect a hardship case to be handled with attention to detail, careful evidence analysis, and a level of depth that reflects the stakes involved.
