When I was hit by another driver, by no fault of mine, I went at it alone to try to recover the property damages. The driver's insurance company wanted me to agree to 5% fault on my part. Had I agreed, I would have received not only 5% less for my vehicle, but I would have been responsible for 5% of the damages to the driver at fault's vehicle. Even sidestepping that trap, however accidentally, the driver's insurance company offered only enough to buy only half of another vehicle of the same year, make, model and mileage. The emotions I felt nearly drove me crazy, from anger to sadness to reservation and back again daily. Thank goodness I made the plunge to walk through the doors of Caruso Law. This is a response to Mark Caruso's request that I delete my statement. He in fact is the correct individual as I have the docs to corroborate my assertions. I am not the only victim. Some time back I signed paperwork given to me by his rep retaining him as my attorney for a large class action lawsuit. I never spoke with him and subsequently learned that my award would be about $500.000 due to the seriousness of my condition. I finally contacted both the pharmaceutical company and trustee and learned that my settlement check was sent to him. I never received one cent!
