Everyone was full at the end of our visit.

Today these New Yorkers went to our casual Walmart shopping trip. Afterwards, we were famished and exhausted. In the past we've eaten whatever is around, and then regret our decision. Today we ventured to this lovely place called Parriyas. Parriyas is small and quaint, cute details everywhere, insta worthy! To start, the menus are on mini tablets! The menu selection was insane!! From Colombian, to Mexican! Our beverages were; cherry lemonade, mango milk shake, blackberry shake, and the coconut lemonade. Each drink was delicious. Our appetizer was the golden chicken taquitos. These were crispy and airy. The chicken was juicy and flavored. It came with a delicious sauce drizzled on top, with chunks of cotija cheese along with crispy romaine lettuce. Our entrees were; the big mama burger, so big that my in law could only eat half. The steak sandwich, kids burger meal, and the avocado burger. All were delicious. We ended our meal with the churros and they were also delicious. Over all, the food was very good, the restaurant had many cute details, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place if you are in the area!

It's not every day that you can order a hot dog that has quail eggs, as in the Rapido. The Nortena Burger was wild, but it should come with a warning label that it shouldn't be consumed every day. The fried cheese might be the surprise star of the ensemble on this hefty sandwich. While the pineapple and blackberry salsas are just sweet sauces, not some magical hybrid, the salsa chimichurri is a must-have. Parriyas has impressively hours and the goods were promptly shipped in two delivery orders.

Wow. What an experience. Simple, affordable, consistent. I tried the Japan burger. It is so big it's the first time I've used a knife and fork to eat a burger. It's places like these that make me regret moving to Queens .

Yum!! This spot has the best Colombian fast food of the area. Highly recommend for those looking for a gourmet burger, hot dog and arepas.

My first time visiting this nice Colombian restaurant was really good than I expected. The atmosphere was really good and didn't not see a single piece of trash on any of the tables. The decoration was incredible lots of signs and paintings on the walls and all around the restaurant! The service was good nice staff and the helped me out when I had some questions when I was about to order my food. The food was really delicious. The food I ordered was a double burger, steak tacos, and chicken tacos. The burger was good and the fries were good but could use a just a little bit more salt. Tacos were decent I felt like the meat on the tacos felt a little funky when I took a bite but still good. Not sure if it was my stomach or something else. The total was alright. My overall experience was still pretty great!

I didn't eat but did have a couple cocktails. The Moscow Mule was good and I liked the upside down little bottle. I did think it was on the pricey side. Parking was easy and there were a lot of TV's so I think this place would be super fun to watch games. A solid experience.

You cannot hear anyone because it is way too loud... even if they are right next to you, the staff had trouble hearing us and we could barely hear them. My food wasn't good. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out medium well. Mind you I said it three times and he said it back to me. I made sure because of how loud it is. It was dry, tough, and lacked flavor. I also explained that I cannot eat onions before ordering and the waiter confirmed the salad with my meal has onions but offered to substitute my salad with rice since I cannot eat onions. That was very nice of him, but he gave me yellow rice that had onions in it so I couldn't eat that. The maduros, which I grew up on and eat all the time, looked and tasted old. I couldn't even eat them and others at my table agreed with the steak and maduros. We had a big table and overall no one was happy with this place. The pandebono wasn't great either, the bottom was a bit burned and it was lacking flavor like a lot of the food we ordered. I had to add salt. I wasn't drinking that night so ordered a Shirley Temple with extra cherries, something I order when I don't feel like drinking, and it was awful. First off, not 1 cherry lol but it was mostly Grenadine syrup! So hard to drink. I had my gf, her sister, and her aunt try it. No one liked it. One of my friends ordered a dirty martini and it tasted really strange more like pickle juice and liquor. She tried to drink it, but she couldn't and I don't blame her. A few of us tasted it... not good. She asked the waiter if she could trade it for a margarita because someone else got one and said it was okay. The waiter comes back with another dirty martini that was even worse! The piña colada was pretty good, weak, but not bad. Maybe stick with that. A few people at the table got it so I got to taste it. I will not be coming back here ever. Colombia Kaliente in Englewood is where it's at- 10,000 times better.

Now, while I am proud to proclaim my Colombian heritage, I must confess that I have no frame of reference for actual Colombian establishments given that the last time I was in the land of my ancestors, I was in diapers. However, I can say this: THE FOOD HERE IS INCREDIBLE! I ordered "huevos perico," which are basically scrambled eggs with diced tomatoes and either diced scallions or onions. To be honest I cannot recall which ingredients were used as I was in Heaven the minute the plate was set before me with an "arepa con queso." (If you don't know what that is, please Google it. I've never had to explain it to anyone before.) Anyway, that meal, along with the cafe con leche were beyond amazing! Moreover, you get a very homely feel with the atmosphere. Señora Olga, the patron and cook, was very cordial and professional but also made me feel as if I was back in my abuela's kitchen (God rest her soul) when she cooked and prepared the meal just a few feet away. She even grabbed the pan off the wall! One that I thought was just there for decoration. Such a small gesture but it took me aback, dropped jaw and all. In short, nothing is processed in this place. It is all quite authentic and made fresh and to order. I cannot wait to visit this place again.
