Allegheny Imaging is my go to place when I need to have X-rays. They offer comprehensive services…read moresuch as CT scans, MRIs, bone density tests, women's issue's exams in addition to X-rays. Most health insurance plans are taken. Some tests require prior authorization but your MD's office will handle the leg work on it. I normally come here because it is convenient to where I live and my doctor's office. Appts. are not required for minor procedures. During this visit I needed a simple X-ray. Upon arrival you sign in and register. After that you are asked to have a seat. When your name is called you are directed to the elevators to the 2nd floor and sign in there. Normally the process is swift. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The technician even showed me the X-ray. Course I can't determine anything until the radiologist reads it and sends the report to my doctor. Normally I get my results within a few days. They are located just off of Steubenville Pike in Robinson as you head towards Settler's Ridge. The building has ample parking and valet parking is also available during certain days of the week and certain times of the day. This building houses other professional offices. Due to HIPPA regulations no photos are allowed.

My friends and family who live in the area refer to it to as the Toys "R" Us location, because this was indeed a Toys "R" Us years ago. You can get lab work here, you can even get minor outpatient surgeries done here. A friend of mine had early stage breast cancer and this was not only where she was diagnosed but where her surgery was done. As for me, I have had my annual mammograms, a number of ultrasounds and a breast biopsy here. This is a facility where whatever you are here for is likely to have you feeling nervous, and the staff recognizes that and is absolutely expert at putting you at ease. From when you call and schedule through the day of your procedure, I have always felt treated with care and empathy. I know these are characteristics you would be looking for in any medical professional, but these are some especially touchy subjects and somehow the staff members they have hired here are exactly the right people for the job. The facility is bright and clean, with staff on hand upfront to direct and/or register you. Lots of space to sit and be comfortable for yourself and any support persons you might bring along. I'm glad to have this facility close to me.
