What an experience for a Saturday morning, FIRST THING. Todd/Ted, Jane and Kathy. Your customer service skills... well let's just say you all could use a refresher course. I called this establishment Friday early afternoon to inquire about filling balloons that I purchased on October 2 at this establishment today Saturday morning. I was told by Siri pleasant employee on the phone, that I could come in first thing tomorrow morning she even told me that the store will be open earlier at 8 AM. I arrived at the store shortly after 815 couldn't get one hello or greet out of these mopey faces that looked miserable to be doing their job-Filling BALLOONS. I get it it's Saturday morning you're tired there's kids but this was a whole new level of misery. I greeted everyone and politely ask Cathy if I could have my balloons filled that I purchased here on October 2 when from out of the woodwork's at the other counter desk behind a bunch of balloons, Todd says "we don't know if you bought it here you could've bought that on Amazon or anywhere for that matter you have a receipt?" While I did not have my receipt on me because I had disposed of it yesterday unfortunately (my fault), my email IS in the system as well as my credit card and phone number, as I receive texts regularly. While trying to figure out how much it would cost to fill the balloons and if there was an additional fee, Jane spoke from out of the woodwork's, again not lifting her head to look at me or greet me, but to tell me "yeah of course there's a fee it's a dollar something". I went back to my car to look for the receipt and even though I could have provided my phone number and information Todd was not willing to come from out behind the counter where he was working to check he mentioned that he would have to but never did and never looked at me once. Guys, I understand it's a lot dealing with kids I understand party city may not have been your dream job but it is a job and in these trying times, a smile and simple courtesy can go along way. I'd say I'll see you next time but there's no way in H E double L, I'll be shopping at an establishment which treats their guest this way first thing in the morning especially when I dropping over $100 on Oct 2nd. So enjoyed party city and to you three musketeers good luck with the rest of your careers I hope there as fulfilling as your morning of balloons. This is the one that's near Weis and Circuit City in the Paxton Town center. We had some awesome balloons made up and inflated for a decen t price. they have all sorts of party supplies, sign boards and so forth. well worth if if you need supplies on a short notice. FYI- Helium balloons only stay inflated for 3 - 7 hours. read more

I placed an online order for items for my classroom. The order process was so easy. I received a text when my order was ready. My order was ready quite quickly. I received my text within 30 minutes of placing the order . When I arrived at the store and called my order was brought out right away. The gentleman that brought my order out was friendly and thanked me for shopping at Party City. Everything was so easy and efficient for me. read more

I have been referring people to Party City for years. They have a wonderful selection of fancy to economy paper products. Three kids all of which like different characters... this place makes party planning easy. I was able to have a SpiderMan party in May, a Mickey Mouse party in September and the youngest who is a Halloween baby will have a spooky Blue's Clues party in October. They always have tons of stuff to decorate and fill up the goody bags. The only draw back is my lack of self control and buying everything related to the theme of the party which causes me to spend lots of dinero and get the lecture from my hubby. Which goes in one ear and out the other.. recently I took him in to help me self-regulate for the up coming October party. ... he was worse than I was.. two adults walking out of a party store with two huge bags each. I purchased a cactus Cooler that was a blow up cactus with the bottom to be used as a cooler, well the cactus never held air, thank god the bottom did for the ice & drinks. This was a cinco de mayo themed grad party for my daughter. I returned the damaged item today & Mgr Ken tells me he can't give me store credit since I didn't have the receipt. Not really worried about that, but his attitude sucked & his customer was even worse!!!! I will be shopping @ the Party City on Carlisle Pike from now on. read more

Very disappointed in this Party City Location and will not go there again especially for a Halloween Costume. I bought my daughter a costume at 2PM on the 25th of October. Had to return by 4PM to do a refund they refused because they said that there's a no return policy on costumes purchased after the 24th of October. This was policy was not advertised other than the cashiers counter where purchases are made and customer don't look because they are rushed to get through the long lines and then leave. I thought that I was the only person effected by this but it was happening to the guy right in front of me with the exact same situation. The Store Manager explained to this gentlemen that they typically won't exchange costumes with body armour but they would make an exception for this purchase. I spoke loudly and said I've never seen a franchise refuse to refund money for a product especially one that's only 2 hours old and not used in fact it wasn't even opened. It's just poor business. I could understand taking no refunds after halloween is over especially if the costume was used but in mine and the gentlemen's case in front the person in front of me situation was clearly different. Also, I tried to use a RetailmeNot App coupon at this location and the cashier made the comment RetailmeNot makes up their own coupons without Party City's authorization is ridiculous because Party City at the National level advertises their association with the APP. This location has taken advantage of their customer base and should be held accountable for not being a good place to do business especially during one of their key selling moments of Halloween. I won't return and I'm warning others to be very cautious of this place. These items can be bought in other places. read more
