The one downside is that the line in the fabric room can get long and it's first come first served, so when I just needed a roll of ribbon I had to stand behind 15 people who needed fabric cut. That was tedious. They don't have as many different throws as some of the other places, but this is a good place to come to fill in the gaps. Next year I'm going to really do up my Mardi Gras costume and I'm going to get some higher end fabric and this is where I'm coming!

They then got a call from the actual store owner Claudia who I asked if she knew where these items were. I described the garments as listed and was then put on the phone with her. She was also quite disrespectful and had me on the phone with her for 5 minutes talking in circles on why she wasn't sure of her own inventory. I will not be back, I have unfollowed the account on instagram, and I left upset and feeling heavily disrespected. I am a queer man by the way.

I came in one late afternoon with a friend from out of town. We were window shopping in the Quarter, she had seen this store the previous day and wanted to come back. I am so glad she brought me in here. Colorful trinkets, cute earrings, and these amazing stringed flying winged creatures. I know that last part sounds weird, and it is odd, but one long string, you attach the appropriate end to the ceiling and let it hang. Spread on the string are various sizes of butterflies, birds, and they are just so lovely. There was home décor, cute sweaters that when you extend your arms while wearing it, it appears that there are wings on your back. I will be back for gifts in the future. When one of us travels without the other they have to take the heart with them and take pictures of everything we wish the other to see with the stone.
