The ride itself was great, and our driver was fantastic! However, we were charged an extra $100 for gratuity without any prior communication. Because the company wasn't transparent about this automatic charge, we ended up tipping the driver in cash before getting off as well. While the driver absolutely deserved a tip, I am very disappointed in the company's lack of transparency regarding their pricing and fees. read more

The owner is sleazy, find another company to use! Our bus included12 kids & elderly for a Christmas lights tour. Our bus had exhaust smoke coming inside the bus, we had to open all windows (it was 38 degrees outside), pull over on the side of the road to get everyone out while driver and 2 of our own passengers (1 of which has mechanical training), assessed the situation. They determined something was broken and the driver texted the owner to tell him. We saw the text reply from owner to driver, it said, "figure it out, we don't have any other buses to use". The driver felt terrible but it was entirely the fault of the owner. When I called to get a refund, he didn't like that I was "complaining about the experience", and literally said to me, "Bye Felicia" and hung up on me. This guy is a scumbag, do not pay to use his old, outdated, smoky buses. read more

I am truly not someone to leave a bad review as I recognize sometimes people just have bad days, but I can't keep quiet about this situation. On Tuesday July 29th I arranged to get a party bus (Megavan from Party Express Bus) for my friend/coworkers 21st birthday. As we got in the van we quickly realized there was no A/C or air movement in the back of the bus and it was HOT. We decided to give it a minute and wait until we started moving to see if it would cool off. Well it didn't. The bus driver recommended we call the owner and talk with him about how hot and uncomfortable it was on the bus. That's when real disaster started. I called Phil, the owner of Party Express Bus and immediately it was an uncomfortable conversation. I explained that there was no air flow or A/C. He told me he just had it fixed yesterday and it should be working at its best for us. It was not working but he continued to argue with me that it had to be working, implying that I was making it up that it wasnt. I kept expressing to him how hot it was and that we were all drenched in sweat.. that is when he started raising his voice at me telling me to "GET OFF THE BUS" repeatedly. I remained calm telling him we were currently moving. I asked him what our options were because it was too hot and uncomfortable to stay on this bus. He then started LAUGHING at me. At this point I was in TEARS and had to hand the phone off to one of my coworkers. She also asked him what our options were.. if he had a different bus we could get on that had working A/C, or if he wanted to give us a refund. He then yelled at her and said "I'm canceling your party, get off the bus," hanging the phone up on her. Phil never once apologized for the lack of A/C and never offered a solution. Instead he treated me and the other costumers on his bus poorly. His bus driver apologized to us, letting us know the situation was handled unprofessionally and that the bus also didn't have A/C that past weekend. At the end of it Phil did tell my coworker that he would just give me a refund after she called him back. I gave it a couple days to see if he would honor what he said but he has not. I've called multiple times and sent text messages without a response. Might I add every time I've called my stomach has turned with the thought of talking to this 'man' again. So, Phil Alexander I would really appreciate an apology and a refund for the way you treated me and my coworkers and for ruining a 21st birthday celebration. I really hope you can reflect on this and not treat any other customers this way. After posting this review on facebook he then reacted on the post with a laugh. This company is trash. We booked a Christmas lights tour on one of their buses and got a group of friend together. The driver was a mess. She had no idea where to take us and wasted our whole 2 hour trip desperately trying to figure out where to go next. We only ended up getting to see two different light displays as she headed back to our pickup location with 45 minutes left! There was one I specifically asked to go to and we never even made it there, I don't think she knew how to get there. All of this is not to even mention the safety concerns! She could not stay in the lane, took 5 minutes to run around in a cul-de-sac, hit multiple curbs, and was on the phone, eating a candy bar, and reading a list of locations, all while driving the bus! The company refused to take any responsibility for our experience or acknowledge the safety concerns. DO NOT BOOK! read more

This bus should not be on the road. It is a old airport shuttle. Rear doesn't open. DOT Inspectors must have never inspected this bus. Driver was dressed in jean shorts and tank top and dog chain around her neck. If your renting from them go see what your getting first. read more

I absolutely would not recommend this company. I booked this bus for a night out for galentines.I put a $100 down payment before the night of and they had me pay upfront before starting the night out. $525 for 3 hours. After paying upfront, the driver asked for a tip before we even left (first red flag). We had been on the bus for 45 min and a tire goes out. The driver drops us off at a bar and leaves to check out the sound. He then recommends we get dropped back of because the bus is not driveable, it is only an hour and 15 min into our 3 hours. He then says he can drive really slow to get us back home. We make a stop to drop off one of the passengers and then takes us back to our stop which takes an hour to get us back because he conveniently was missing the turns. The bus driver insists we ask for a refund. I finally get ahold of the owner 2 days later and he acts as if he has no knowledge of what happened. Then asks 20 questions that were irrelevant to what I was telling him. He claimed the driver claimed he dropped us off at 3 different bars and made multiple stops to drop people off. And kept saying oh it sounds like you got most of your time. And well where exactly where you wanting to go?!!!!!! SO UNPROFESSIONAL and annoying af. He then so generously refunded me $75 of my $525 charge after asking me multiple times about how much we tipped. FUCK YOU PARTY EXPRESS. You're sketchy as fuck and I hate you. read more

Our bus driver Zac (not sure if correct spelling) was TERRIFIC! Second time ever renting a party bus, first time with this company and would definitely book again if we got him! Made the boarding process and overall ride easy-breezy and enjoyable, gave a hilarious rundown of the rules at the beginning and made everyone super comfortable. Was on exactly on time for pickup and drop off let us take bathroom breaks as needed. read more
