Highly recommend! My husband got me a really nice valentine's gift from this store that was recommended by Lauren and it was very beautiful (see pics). The flowers smelled really nice and the helium balloon with the card was a great addition. The cake not only looked cute but it also tasted amazing. This will definitely be the store I will order from next time for future occasions.

I booked Party on Butler for my husband's surprise birthday. They immediately sent me a customized quote with color palettes and ideas after I submitted an online inquiry. They also were kind enough to follow up with me via text to confirm the booking. They made everything super easy with coordinating set up and tear down at the party location-communicating with the venue. The balloons and marquee numbers were high quality and looked great. We had many friends ask about the vendor because they loved it so much. I would absolutely recommend working with Party on Butler. They made the party look great and took a LOT of pressure off of me

The cutest little party supply store! The store is located right on Butler Street in Lawrenceville. They have everything from plates & napkins to balloons and so much more. The design of all of the products are so cute & trendy; disco, Dolly Parton, boho rainbow, holidays, etc. the list really goes on. Melinda, the owner, is super friendly! She was helpful when giving me details about the balloon arches because I'm planning a baby shower in the summer. I can't wait to see how it turns out (updated review pics to come!)! I'm obsessed with her style and the arches that were on display are so cute! They have a cute dog party section & I got the cutest bone shaped candle (will not be lighting it as my puppy is wild) for my pup's bday coming up!! Definitely love this shop & such a good addition to the city! If you're looking for a special "touch" for an event, definitely check it out!

Melinda and her team were SPECTACULAR to work with. They provided the added touches our daughter's Quinceñera and the party was a HIT! The balloons and backdrop were beautiful, delivery and rental pickup were extremely easy. I would 100% work with them again! THANK YOU MELINDA & CREW!

The best party and balloon store in Pittsburgh! If you need a quick helium balloon or you want multiple big arches, Party on Butler is the place to get it. The owner Melinda and her staff are so welcoming (they always have candy or treats like cupcakes!), and very helpful for anything you need for a birthday party. Their prices in-store are reasonable and they carry the cutest plates, napkins, party hats, candles, etc. for any party theme. I especially loved their "twenty one" crowns and bachelorette party sections! There's also always I upbeat music playing and something fun on the tv in the back. Talk about a party! I highly recommend ordering a balloon arrangement from them as well- I saw firsthand how hard their staff works to give you the absolute perfect party decor, so you can't go wrong with them!

Melinda and her team put together a balloon arch for my son's "First Trip Around the Sun," and I can't say enough good things! The arch was not just adorable/fun, but reasonably priced (I got quotes from a few other vendors in the city). Additionally, Melinda was incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive, and the entire process - from getting a quote, getting balloon color samples, and the delivery/install of the arch - went smoothly/seamlessly. I would definitely use Party on Butler again and recommend to my friends.

It manages to be quaint and inviting, but absolutely stunning at the same time. The food was wonderful, the scones were honestly the best scones I've ever had and they make everything on site! Not to mention the presentation, the tiered serving trays? The different pieces of vintage china settings? The crystal goblets? Omg, take me back to the days of dreaming of having a tea party like this! My inner child is jumping up and down! This venue is small, but the perfect size for a more intimate gathering, my party was 22 people and we fit just fine. The waitress was adept at explaining the tea flavors and describing what was on the serving trays as they were set down, and the owner, Sherry, was a joy to work with. Her friendly and professional demeanor helped assuage the stress of throwing an event, and her contracts were well drafted and easily understood. I can't wait to go back in my own time just for lunch and tea! Once again, I highly recommend this lovely tea room, whether it's for an event, a luncheon or a princess party, I will be telling all of my friends about it.

When I studied at Pitt, I love the Heinz Memorial Chapel a lot so my husband and I decided to have our wedding there after my graduation. At first, I thought I could handle all the wedding details by myself to save the money but then I figured out that mission impossible. I would have my wedding, my graduation project and final research paper at the same time! I would be an insane bride! So we started looking for wedding planners and Shari was the first one we contacted. Her professionalism, experienced attitude and thoughtful consideration really impressed us. After a few comparison with other wedding planners, we had Shari's assistant Andrea as our wedding planner. Andrea is the perfect one. She is nice, easy to communicate, thoughtful and very professional. I have no idea of how an American wedding goes like and she was so patient to explain all the details to me. She helped the most when we picking up all the vendors due to my budget. As my husband was working in Beijing, China by the time I was preparing the wedding, Andrea was the most helpful one to me. I can't thank her more for spending the last six months with me. Without her effort, I couldn't have such a beautiful wedding. I had a wedding prepare folder with 12 wedding vendors lists and she was always there when we had to meet with them. We almost spent every week together. I did a dual-language wedding ceremony and reception as our parents can't understand English. Andrea and her team coordinated that point with all the other vendors and we made it! Everything went through so well and our parents were grateful and happy too. For the wedding day, I just felt a little worried of the wedding party as we were not familiar with the American wedding. I knew Andrea would take care the rest of my wedding and make it perfect. I was so busy and anxious by the graduation ceremony on the morning and wedding on the evening. She helped all the other things as we planned and all of a sudden the dream came true. Thank you Andrea for being my wedding coordinator and being there with more as a friend and a sister. I wish you the best as always.

I contacted Shari to work with her as a consultant, because I was stuck and could not seem to make any decisions regarding this big event in our lives. My questions ranged from: what kind of linens should I use - to how do I select all of the vendors - to do we need a theme - to how should I arrange the seating - to where do I put the fabulous candy bar (the only request from my daughter). Basically, where do I get started! Shari really took the time to answer all of my questions with professionalism and care. She gave me suggestions that were not only unique and interesting (not the "same old, same old"), but that fit my budget, and allowed me to feel like I was able to tackle everything on my "to do" list. In addition to putting my mind at ease regarding the planning, she also created a timeline for me to provide to my DJ and venue contact so that things would run smoothly on the day of the Bat Mitzvah. My family, especially my husband who now can truly see the value in this service, are thrilled with this experience with Perfectly Planned by Shari. I highly recommend her consulting, day of, and planning services to anyone who is celebrating a special time in their lives.

The trail is great for beginners or if you just want a quick jog. There are several benches you can sit down on along the way, plus a tree stump in the woodsy part that you can also sit on to rest. It's a very well maintained trail that smells like freshly cut wood chips, and has a nice variety of terrain. I didn't see any dog poop (it's a no-dog park) and no litter at all, which the multiple trash cans around the loop definitely help with. While a good portion of the trail has the wood chips, some areas could use a bit more. After rain, a few spots can get muddy and it can get a little marshy in the grassy part where there is no trail. The outer loop is about 1.2 miles, and there are several spots where the trail branches off. There's a more "woody" section and a more "grassland" section, which keeps it interesting. It's also not hard to find parking at the church across the street. There's a lot of birds chirping and tons of squirrels and bunnies, and every once in a while you'll spot deer. Inside the barn fence there are lambs and sometimes horses, which is a nice touch. Also kind of cool is that there are wild chive plants around this trail which is common in the Pittsburgh area, and you'll find some growing in the park if you know what to look for.
