The set-up of Top Vintage is like a warehouse (of win). However, if you are expecting a disorganized joint where shoppers are left to fend for themselves, you are sorely mistaken. They have all their items arranged into areas and bins, from dresses to overalls to jackets to shorts to shoes to bags/backpacks. During July's Top Saturday, they even hand-picked some black and white items to go on separate racks for easier browsing. As a vintage shopper, it is a prime source of goods and the Saturday events are like treasure hunts. It's that much more rewarding to take something home when you know you've worked to discover it. The staff is very kind and helpful and it is a great environment to shop. I found a couple of cute tops including a nice blast from the past, Ghostbusters sweatshirt. My niece found a really nice Ed Hardy skirt that fits her perfectly. The employees were great and complimented my niece's Godsmack shirt she was wearing. They were all so kind and sincere to all their customers and they were excited to see the different gems their customers purchased. My niece said this was one of her fave stores from our thrift shopping.

I haven't ever stolen, and I had no intentions of starting today, but they were certainly concerned and acting rudely. Racism of another flavor I guess. I felt unwelcome, and uncomfortable. One hovered like a hawk. Another acted mildly annoyed when asked a question. The quality of the clothing is not the same. You could likely do much better at the MAM boutique on N Blalock and that money goes to a good cause.
