I feel like she genuinely cares about me and my well being and always tries to make me feel like a priority. She is currently not seeing new patients, and I thought since we'd stopped our sessions I'd lost her...but we spoke last week and she still considers me a client even if I don't come in regularly. I haven't been in over a year but she still cleared her schedule to make an appointment for me. I love going to her because it feels more like I'm talking to a friend than a professional. Before last year - I never understood why anyone would need to go talk to someone such as a psychiatrist, psychologist, or counselor. But I learned the hard way last summer. My hope is that in writing this review - it will help out others that know that they need to pursue assistance, get help, talk about these issues and get them into the light of day - and get back on the right track! When my Mother passed away last summer - I was pretty stressed out over her passing. I did not do a very good job of dealing with the stress, grief, and anxiety of losing her. My primary care physician wanted me to go talk with a professional to see what they thought I was going through. I went to see two Psychiatrists (for first and second opinions). Dr. Choudhary was the first Dr. I went to visit. She spent 1.5 hours with me and asked me a lot of questions about things. In the end, it was very beneficial. She advised that what I was going through was not abnormal - that such a loss can cause a lot of stress and anxiety. She recommended I continue to see a licensed professional counselor to talk through things. And as a result I've learned to deal with and manage my stress. I really like Dr. Choudhary! I've gone back a few times for appointments to check in with her and discuss how things are going. Highly recommended!
