He had Hines come out and check his . Ended up with a $360 bill. The gentleman put 4 pounds of Freon in his unit and also putting new filter in even though he changes his filters monthly faithfully. Now, 4 pounds of Freon is a whole lot of Freon. This means that there possibly could be a leak? I mean it's not rocket science. The system is only four years old. Before coming to my Father with this , they proceeded to add the Freon change the filter. Why wouldn't you check for a leak before you add Freon? If this is actually what you did. Because the that you add in is just going to leak out if there's a leak correct? So my calls the company to the office manager, which if I remember correctly, her name is Alicia. Stuttering around her to my father saying too late to check leak now because we already added Freon. I could go on and on. At the end of the day this is horrible. This is being a crook. You don't do this to people. If you had to put 4 pounds in a unit before adding it in why would you not come until the customer? Hey somethings going on this is what we need to do and so on.

Flooding caused my central air unit to fail, twice! The…read morefirst time it was up and running within 24 hours and at a reasonable price. The second time I just called the first flashy ad that popped up. HUGE mistake. They charged me a $95 service fee and quoted me more than twice what I had paid A&M for a previous repair! I called A&M, and realized I just got suckered out of $95! they had to order the part but managed to get it working temporarily until the part comes in, and it is almost exactly half the price! I hate to leave bad reviews, I very seldom write any review, but I think everyone should know, especially seniors, should be aware. I don't want to mention the name of the other place because I'm sure they are within "technical" guidelines and prices, but in my opinion they are lacking some moral boundaries. Might just be price gouging. Skip the heating and cooling company that starts with the letter "S", just sayin'

This is concerning 3 visit from A & M Cooling & heaing on a 5 year old system. I paid appox…read more$125-150.00 ?? on the first visit to only be told nothing was wrong with my air conditioner. A few weeks later it broke down again. The second visit was the same thing - I paid $80 (however, laurie refunded the service call since it was not fixed). The 3rd visit the guy came out and reset the breaker and it started up again - I was charged $80.00 - he told me they were resetting the breaker because there is no problem with the air conditioner. He stated that if it happens again that he would immediately come out and show me how to reset the breaker. When it broke down I called Laurie and she normally was very nice that is the only reason I kept going back to this company but this time she was mean. I told her what the guy told me and she said he wasn't available and that they would need to charge me another fee to come out. I explained that the guy told me there would be no charge if it happened again and he would immediate come. We argued over when he would come and I knew I would not win with her so I told her the first available time - but it was just to show me how to reset the system (so that I don't have to pay them $80 every few days). I have beat myself up with going with this companty - they do not fix the problem just reset the system. I left a review that angie deleted. Shortly after review the guy called and said he was on his way - he arrived and showed me how to reset which took 2 minutes.- that I appreciate. However, if I had know they would not fix the system then I would never had keep going back - the problem was never fixed they only reset the breaker box. 3 visits - 2nd visit refunded. If you need your system fixed I would suggest another company.

Their technician (Brandon) arrived and asked if I agree to pay $400 on 1st hr and $200 every succeeding hr. After 30 mins he told me there were multiple issues and one of which is the filter leak. He suggested that he will need to leave & buy new fittings and will cost me $1,100 for the total service, or he will just replace the whole filtration system for $2,400. I did not agree to any of these. So, he shut off the water filtration system and yes the leak stopped. I asked what was the other problem. He said he fixed it by just cutting a small tube. Paid $400 less the $100 senior discount and he left. Without the RO Filtration System, we have no drinking water on the faucet as well as on the fridge dispensers. But when I turned the filter back on, the LEAK is BACK. I called an RO Water Filter installer for help. He arrived the next day and in 10 mins found the leaking part and replaced it for free and as gratitude, I signed an annual service for Filter Cartridge replacement (3 -cartridges) for $200/year with free maintenance labor on future issues. I feel I got ripped-off by your company. Henry Manabat 818-424-0265 Saint Joseph MO 64503

Chris came out and assess the problem for free. He gave us our options of fixing or replacing And we decided to replace the hot water tank as it was over 10 years old. He was the only one in town and did the entire job himself, in less than three hours. We were also shocked that he came out the same day and was able to do the job quickly and efficiently. we will definitely call Chris again if we have more plumbing issues.
