They are the most accommodating people we have dealt with and go above and beyond to meet your needs. We were there during Cruisin The Coast last year and enjoyed seeing the cars that were there. Even if the "rat rods" woke me up in the mornings (I'm a late sleeper). We keep standing reservations for Jeepin The Coast and Cruisin The Coast. We also love that the manager is a veteran. GREAT affordable place to stay on the Mississippi Coast. GREAT location too!!

Golf cart friendly, so we drove our golfcart everywhere!!! The campground has fully air conditioned showers, bathrooms and laundry room! If you fish, you can launch your boat at the campground or fish from the dock. Also, have an elevated deck for bird watching with a covered picnic area for cookouts, crab boils or bar-b-ques! When we arrived a few weeks later it was just what we needed. Great sunsets, fishing, ease getting to and hooking up but the best part of all are the owners. Joel, Jamiee and there family are awesome. They had an amazingly well thought out and articulate packet of to-dos and must eats around the area. The office/laundry/bathhouse has an elevated porch perfect for nature watching and capturing the awe inspiring sunsets over the bayou. We highly suggest you check them out. Some spots are overloaded with goods for sale. There were a few good things. Mainly an air of despair hung over this entire area. There seemed to be a few vendors that were permanent. Plants, military gear, Confederate paraphernalia was all abundant. There was some food for sale. I did not end up getting anything and I'm not sure I will be back. We travel all over the country and it's custom to pay the next day when they open. Well the rude rude lady came to my rv saying I was trespassing and needed to leave. After see finished being rude I paid her for one night and will never return. I am not a criminal!!! This is not how to treat your customers.

A few mins later she came back saying our neighbor complained our kids hit their RV with the rocks. We were asked to leave because our neighbors threatened to leave, and they would be staying longer than us and I quote "I would loose money." Fine. At this point, after interacting with her a few times, we were ok with leaving, just not a friendly lady (which our neighbors told us the night before). We found another campsite and packed up to leave. We knocked on our neighbors door and made our boys apologize for anything they might have done because if they did do something we will fix it. Our neighbors had no clue what we were talking about. Said they never complained nor heard anything hit their camper. The lady was super sweet to us and said she was sorry we had to leave. We were refunded our monthly rate. We did mention to owner/manager she should let folks know when they call weeks in advance and say they are coming with children, that it's not a family friendly place. There is nothing there. It's just a solid rock parking lot. May be fine for older folks without children or someone visiting a day or two but not full time. Also note a train runs past about every 15mins! Lastly, they were pretty much empty. For some reason they put us on top of our neighbors. We asked them for a different site and she said, "No. We are full". Yea, ok. The park we are at now was the complete opposite. They are very full but once we explained to the manager what happened at Gulf Haven she said she was going to find us a spot here. Even willing to make phone calls to see if guests were still coming. This may very well be a great park we just feel it needs to be labeled for the older crowd or those without kids.

Unsure why but my wife and I love seeing chickens roaming around every day. Nice amenities here. There is a nice pool and large and clean bathroom shower facilities plus a meeting room next to the store. Fitness center has quality equipment (Precor etc). And they appear to be expanding which is great news. We both had medical emergencies which required us to add time to our stay and they were very helpful with that.
