Newton Abbot's Teignworthy brewery is usually featured; other local beers include Hunters, Jollyboat, Exe Valley and O'Hanlons. Great lunchtime grub; roast dinners are particularly good value and I can also vouch for the steaks. Bands Saturday nights, some of which are quite good. Karaoke Friday nights - if you like that sort of thing! They also have darts and euchre evenings. It was as lovely as the barmaid who served it for me. This is a wonderfully unique bar. I fully recommend a visit. Like going back in time in some respects. They have some fruit wine (like gooseberry!) if you don't like cider (but no beer, which was normal for traditional cider houses).
