    Green juice and flat white

AMAZING !!!! A must try while in Ibiza. Everything is delicious. Highly recommend the pesto eggs and the coco bowl with mango yoghurt and granola.

    Such a cute place

They have a Ratatouille mouse stuffed animal on their shelf which I thought was very adorable. The blonde waitress (and I think part-owner) we had was super friendly, attentive and smiley. We tried the Caesar salad, croquettes (3 different flavors: suckling pig, Cauliflower and 1 other one I cannot remember) with 3 different dipping sauces, 2 chicken dishes (cannot recall the name), and a mango dessert (tiny, good for 1 person). We ate everything family-style though not every dish is easy to share (example: the mango dessert). This place is great for a special occasion or if you want to dine somewhere where you can get dressed up. Our favorite dish was, hands-down, the Caesar salad. I never expected to be impressed by a Caesar salad. It was prepared in a way we have never seen before. The salad was chopped but not mixed up, wrapped in cheese, and then flambeed with a torch with the dressing inside the cheese. All of their dishes are presented in a whimsical and unique way. The hot-dogs, which we didn't order, comes on a plastic blow-up balloon dog, the croquettes are served on a metal tree with different branches, some other dish is served on a 70s mini-van, etc. They gave us a complimentary licorice liquor shot at the end of our meal. They take online reservations. They were very accommodating when we had to edit our reservation to a later time. During our visit, there was a large business group there as well as a bachelorette party. Even so, the restaurant was never rowdy/super loud. The interior is very swanky, modern and soft in decor. There is a pink/purple glow in the restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor/patio dining.

This is one adventurous dining spot but don't be mistaken, the food is unbelievably delicious…read more Although you do need to have reservations, if you stop in on a whim, they MIGHT have a table available. We lucked out and scored a table on their first night open for the season. Our server was of the utmost help by guiding us through the menu and strongly suggesting certain dishes. We ordered a few drinks and some wine through out our dinner and I was in love with everything we got! Drinks were creative and the wine was a great quality. The food is on another level. I can finally understand why Spain is the gastronomy center the world ...or so I've been told. All the dishes were complex and had an explosion of flavor and were like works of art. Almost too pretty to eat. I can't even choose a favorite dish. Everything I ate was as good as the last and the next. I highly recommend eating here. It will take your taste buds on a special journey that you will not regret going on!

My husband and I were trying to find some good places to dine while we were in Ibiza, but we were there from Sat-Mon. And I don't know if you're familiar with Spain yet, but they pretty much shut everything down on Sundays & Mondays. Monday afternoon, we had just finished climbing the castle and looking out at the views. We walked into town and I remembered seeing the reviews for this gem of a restaurant. We walked in around 3:45pm on a Monday. I was sure they'd either be closed or closing, but to our surprise, they were open and very welcoming! We were the only people in there besides one person in the front on their computer. We sat in the back, outdoor space. It was lovely and peaceful, and we were so tired. The food came out immediately after we ordered and it had a stunning presentation, but the taste was even more stunning! I'm from NYC, we eat out a lot and we know good food. We're picky, new restaurants open and close every day in NYC. Mar a Vila should be in NYC!! Or at least they should open a location there or in Brooklyn. They definitely need to open more locations somewhere. This food is too good to be kept on such a tiny island, away from so many people! Well, at the end of our meal, Patricia, cleared our plates and then just let us sit. She never made us feel like we needed to leave. It was very nice and a great way to revive after a long, adventurous day. Patricia & Pablo, you have an amazing restaurant! I hope I can come back to Ibiza and experience it more.

Amazing! Wow! Fantastique!…read more It was low season in Ibiza and there were not many options available - we found this place highly recommended on Yelp and decided to walk 15-20 mins from our hotel to check it out. Initially we thought they were closed like many other restaurants but were pleasantly surprised to see candlelight and half the restaurant filled up at 10pm. This place is run by a sweet duo who took care of us weary travellers. The female chef took the time to explain different elements throughout the meal and made sure we were taken care of. The male waiter walked us through every item on the Spanish menu in English making sure that we were aware of what we were getting. Multi-course meal with sparkling water and wine - this was a great deal. The food to price ratio was amazing considering where we were and the service was great. For 26 euros you get a starter, main, dessert, bread and drink. I ordered: Starter: Salad Main: The Duck Confit Dessert: Cheese tart The bonus was the extras - an amuse bouche of soup to start off and a shot of an Ibiza-made herbal liqueur to end. Our waiter talked extensively with us about food culture in Ibiza, gave us written recommendations for Formentera the next day and even some clubbing timing tips. We walked in as strangers and left feeling like we were with old friends. I recommend this place! This was probably the best meal we had our entire trip.

The husband serves and the wife is the chef. We talked to them and you can tell how passionate they are and it definitely shows in their cooking. They serve prefixed menus but you have options to mix and match and they are 4 - 5 course meals. You also get a free alcohol beverage with the meal all for under 50 dollars ! The waiter explained everything to us very patiently. I had a salad, grilled octopus for appetizer , turbo as my entree, and chocolate biscuit. It was ALL good. Do not go here without making a reservation. They are only open at night and the entire meal takes about 3 hours. I can assure you its worth it and time does not drag on.
