The food is very disappointing ... why can't you add a little bit of soul to it ? Too simple for the high price !!!

Great spot to relax and enjoy delicious bites. Wish I would've found them sooner! I had the pancakes and a juice, it was great.

They have a Ratatouille mouse stuffed animal on their shelf which I thought was very adorable. The blonde waitress (and I think part-owner) we had was super friendly, attentive and smiley. We tried the Caesar salad, croquettes (3 different flavors: suckling pig, Cauliflower and 1 other one I cannot remember) with 3 different dipping sauces, 2 chicken dishes (cannot recall the name), and a mango dessert (tiny, good for 1 person). We ate everything family-style though not every dish is easy to share (example: the mango dessert). This place is great for a special occasion or if you want to dine somewhere where you can get dressed up. Our favorite dish was, hands-down, the Caesar salad. I never expected to be impressed by a Caesar salad. It was prepared in a way we have never seen before. The salad was chopped but not mixed up, wrapped in cheese, and then flambeed with a torch with the dressing inside the cheese. All of their dishes are presented in a whimsical and unique way. The hot-dogs, which we didn't order, comes on a plastic blow-up balloon dog, the croquettes are served on a metal tree with different branches, some other dish is served on a 70s mini-van, etc. They gave us a complimentary licorice liquor shot at the end of our meal. They take online reservations. They were very accommodating when we had to edit our reservation to a later time. During our visit, there was a large business group there as well as a bachelorette party. Even so, the restaurant was never rowdy/super loud. The interior is very swanky, modern and soft in decor. There is a pink/purple glow in the restaurant. There is indoor and outdoor/patio dining.

We lucked out and scored a table on their first night open for the season. Our server was of the utmost help by guiding us through the menu and strongly suggesting certain dishes. We ordered a few drinks and some wine through out our dinner and I was in love with everything we got! Drinks were creative and the wine was a great quality. The food is on another level. I can finally understand why Spain is the gastronomy center the world ...or so I've been told. All the dishes were complex and had an explosion of flavor and were like works of art. Almost too pretty to eat. I can't even choose a favorite dish. Everything I ate was as good as the last and the next. I highly recommend eating here. It will take your taste buds on a special journey that you will not regret going on!

We ordered wine and beer by the glass and the prices for the drinks were really reasonable. At the beginning of the meal, the wait staff was very attentive. We typically order a bunch of dishes to share when we're at a restaurant. Overall, the food was good. However, I felt the rice dish was overpriced and underwhelming. When placing the order, we had contemplated ordering a smaller rice dish (for 2 instead of for 4) and getting another dish. The waiter emphasized how small the dish was. We ended up ordering the 4 and not getting another dish. I feel like that was probably the wrong move. We ordered the eggplant taco appetizer and it was delicious. The tortilla was likely prepared in house. It was thicker than a normal corn tortilla but had this awesome consistency. For some odd reason, the wait staff told us when ordering that the order came with 3 tacos. However, when we got the bill, we were charged 3 times. Our server had gone off shift, and the replacement said no, an order is just one taco. While the tacos were great, I don't think I would spend nearly $30 euros for 3 tacos. We ordered some coffee drinks to go with dessert. But those got lost along the way, and were brought out well after dessert was over. I think we actually got them the same time we got the check. We split 3 different desserts. All 3 were phenomenal. Everyone's favorite was the bread dish. It was labeled as a bread pudding in English. I think the Spanish term is Torrijas. It's not really a bread pudding, more like a French toast. Regardless, it was phenomenal. The dessert and the Peking duck Gyoza was the highlight of the meal. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience. If ever go back, I'll do things differently. Maybe split the burger, it looked delicious.

There is a posh restaurant and a modest alternative. We could only get into the latter. It's fantastic. In a very unlikely area, but it's a culinary oasis in a desert of fried Spanish food.
