All the while, penalties and interest continue to accrue and additional things like liens and wage garnishments have occurred. Each time something bad or worse happens, they just ask for another form to be filled out and then don't call back or do anything when you return the form. It routinely takes multiple phone calls and emails to get one email or phone call back. After I reply back to their very infrequent requests for information I never receive any status update nor communications regarding expected next steps or timeline for whatever may be next. Whenever they ask me to fill out a form, it always is emailed to me and typically contains my personal and confidential information, which is illegal in California, and generally represents an complete lack of understanding of how to adequately protect my confidential information. On at least four occasions when I have received a call back and demanded some form of action be taken, I have been told that the owner is on vacation and nothing can be done. This typically results in several weeks of delay and them forgetting to return my call when the owner returns, if he was ever really gone in the first place. Afterwards, I must try again to get them to call back, leaving multiple voice mails and emails. They have done zero negotiating on my behalf with the IRS and Franchise Tax Board. Rather they take the side of the government and basically tell you that whatever the government is offering is the best you're going to get. No discussions of alternatives, no negotiations, no communications about plan of action...nothing. If you have a tax problem, take it somewhere else. This company does not work for your business and does almost nothing to show they care about you or your tax problems. I honestly suspect that the other reviews are fake and planted by a social media management company. I cannot believe that the other reviews could possibly be true in light of my extremely negative experiences that I have had with this organization over the past year plus for something that should have been resolved within a month or two.
