The tech who did my scan asked me questions, explained the process and asked me to wait after to ensure the scan was good and the initial reading didn't show anything concerning. I appreciated that very much. The results were uploaded to MyChart within the hour. Very efficient and nice people. Because I went in within 2 hours of my appointment, the insurance had not approved my test. They waited until the last minute to see If it would be approved and gave me the option to pay out of pocket or reschedule. I didn't have time or want to risk having a problem, so unpaid out of pocket and will working out with my insurance. They were very upfront about it and I liked having the option.

After I finished the paperwork and returned it to the desk staff, already annoyed by them so rudely making my daughter leave the building, they informed me they couldn't do the exam my daughter was in need of We were made to wait in our car. My daughter's appointment was 2:45pm. At 4pm I made my daughter go into the building and ask what was taking so long (As calling this PP location is a waste of time because you're directed to a central appointment booking location and not the Morristown PP location itself) and if she could use the restroom. She never returned. They had taken her into be seen but NO STAFF MEMBER had called me to advise me of this I was about to go see where my daughter was, but she had text messaged me. Informing me they had taken her in for her appointment. my daughter also informed me we waited so long because the desk staff had forgotten to give the nurses in the back the new patient forms I was all mama bear by now! They only did one out of three gynecological healthcare procedures we'd asked an appointment for. Making me furious as my daughter was having a semi serious medical issue at that moment, that they informed me they would check on. They never did! My daughter came out not even a half hour later. Confused about almost everthing the nurses and doctor had told her. My daughter is a minor and they absolutely went against OSHA regulations. I should've been able to have stayed with my daughter because she's a minor. But I was absolutely banned from being with her. On election day, Tuesday, November 5, I showed up for my scheduled appointment. I was greeted at the desk, paid my fee, and escorted into the treatment room where a staff member took my blood pressure, pulse and temperature. I was then told to wait for the physicians. About 25 minutes later one of the physicians came in and told me that the supervising physician was not in, as he was out working on an election campaign and I would not be treated. She told me that they are sorry. I think that MFM should hold itself to the same standards it holds patients to, which would be to give a rebate to patients when I physician is a no call no show. This is unprofessional.

I went to MedExpress and within 5 minutes of listing the IDENTICAL SET of symptoms was sent inside for a urine sample and given a prescription for an antibiotic for a kidney infection. A kidney infection wasn't even MENTIONED as a possible diagnosis on my virtual appointment. I know Covid is out there and a major concern -- however, not everything is Covid related. Patients should be given a fair chance at a real diagnosis and not be left to fend for themselves. I am disappointed as I expected better from an Atlantic Health System office. I will be finding another PCP.

Generally, I have a pleasant, uneventful visit with the midwife, however yesterday during my pap exam I felt so much pain by the way in which it was administered. I believe she had to have been a new employee as I've never seen her there before. My suggestion is to schedule your appointment with one of the seasoned midwives as they know how to minimize such pain! While that lady yesterday seemed a tad clueless to using the equipment properly and minimizing pain. Horrible visit. I will not accept random people giving me my exams, anymore.

The quality of care was surprisingly poor. I went in for a knee injury with internal pain, and the provider treated me by 1) prescribing 2 strong antibiotics despite no symptoms of infection and 2) declining to provide the X -ray I requested, telling me to seek one in 1 week from another medical center. In addition, billing was excessive and confusing. I was billed for multiple incorrect procedures and was told that only a foreign call center could answer any billing questions, yet the call center rep had difficulty conversing let alone providing useful information. I would hesitate to return here knowing that they counseled me to incur additional medical costs elsewhere AND billing matters are outsourced to a separate facility unable to provide meaningful help. The only positive things I can say: all staff were pleasant and the facility is clean.
