I grew up in Southern Oregon and wanted to have my engagement shoot there to reflect that part of my life (we're having the wedding in Colorado). I started from scratch and was lucky enough to come across Maria Alexandra. Her online profile impressed me and her prices were very reasonable compared with a few other local photographers of equal caliber. I am an average woman, 5'5 average build, no exceptional looks, but Maria Alexandra managed to make me look half-goddess. I would say her real strong points are her newborn and child portraits, but I can't express how happy I was with her work on our engagement shoot. She told me she is interested in fashion and I believe she may go far because her portraits are just amazing! She was easy to work with and really put two amateurs at ease- allowing for much better pics. I would sing her praise to anyone.

She was so kind, communicative, and patient with all our questions (and there were lots!). When we were hit with bad weather Jessica was gracious enough to offer a literal rain check and adjust scheduling. She truly went out above and beyond. Our ceremony was very small and intimate, yet Jessica's warmth demeanor had made it totally comfortable having new person in the mix.
