On arriving my family was greeted by the sales team who took the voucher off us and about 5 minutes later we were met by our photographer, over the next 15 minutes it was brilliant we had lots of photos taken and had all the family photographed from my very little one to the full family photo of 5 people... they were very professional and made the whole experience friendly and fun ... I then came back to reception where I was given the opportunity to view the pictures whilst I waited for the CD to burn... the photographer told me he had taken 90 images...I was shocked as I viewed the photos they were awesome and I found myself getting a bit emotional but I loved it... 5 minutes later they handed me the disc with my images and a copyright release letter giving me complete ownership of the images - all for a fixed fee of £37 quid Whitebox Photography is an excellent service and one I would strongly recommend...forget Venture pick Whitebox they gave me a guranteed 50 images (90) copyright free and all for one fixed fee how can anybody beat that???

Stephen Ward is something of a local institution, a well known and talented photographer, he is…read morealso heavily involved in the local news magazine the Rothwell Record. As if it wasn't enough to be the photographer of choice for the area Stephen is also proprietor of the stationary and card shop which has a great range of cards at all prices and a selection of books by local authors. A couple of years ago Stephen Ward's also took on a Thorntons chocolate franchise thus becoming the only place in Rothwell to get good chocolate. I'm sure I'm not the only person to realise that the coming of summer is heralded by the appearance of Thornton's ice cream in Stephen Ward's shop.

The sprawling perfume section at the entrance makes me want to gag - at least at the other Debs it's all nicely contained and you can steer clear if you don't want to be sprayed in the face by over-zealous sales assistants. There's also a wedding section (where you can buy outfits and set up a wedding list), a house and home section, lingerie, make up and beauty and jewellry section. (My perfect shop everything all under one roof). There's also two good cafes. I prefer the one on the top floor as it tends to be quieter and they do nice lunches/ meals.
