We felt like having a cold cheese and meat plate for dinner, so this place had all we wanted. Some good cuts of italian cheese, ham and salami. Some good bread to go with and some preserved calabrian chillies (good stuff!). Staff was nice. Oscar's is a small, family-run pasticceria, complete with Mama and children in tow. We were handed a cannoli, made at that moment for us, and the love affair with this bakery started. They have a whole array of marzipan treats, many shaped into other food. We had a good laugh examining what appeared to be a ham and cheese sandwich, but which was actually made entirely of marzipan. This bakery is THE place to try. Small. Cute. And, extremely delicious. The cookies are to die for, and to be washed down with a freshly-pressed Italian espresso.

I came in around 8AM and the man behind the counter was busy at work getting everything ready for the day. I decided on grabbing a few of the cookies with half of it covered in chocolate (No, I don't know the actual name so don't judge me) which I have been eying since I arrived a few days before. For only a few dollars I had my cookies and before you know it they vanished.....into my mouth.....because they were fantastic and I just didn't get enough.
