When we arrived in Titusville we about cried when we saw the restaurant wasn't there. Not knowing the name we couldn't google the place. But Thankfully the nice folks at the hardware store knew exactly who we were talking about and told us they had moved to a larger space off the main road. We of course ordered the Gumbolaya which was as great as we remembered! We also had the beet and goat cheese salad, debris fries (fries could have been crispier) but flavor was bangin and we ordered the cheese cornbread which was moist and magical! The chefs husband waited on us and he was truly just an amazing human and made our experience that much better! The place was amazing, They had a Fokker Triplane that I was able to walk right up to and touch. They had information on all of the aircraft from WW1 to the present. We spent several hours walking around, then I found a ch53 helicopter in the hanger. Apparently this one had come in two weeks before and was their new pride and joy. My good fortune. I was very pleased to be able to walk right up to it and have my picture taken At the end I did 30 minutes in the flight simulator on a Cessna 172. That's a lot of fun.

The course weaves through this RV community so you are seeing new areas on each hole. It's like a big circle around the grounds. No heading into the clubhouse at the turn. There were plenty of restrooms along the course and they had cart service available. I played the red tees which were around 4800 yds. The silvers were about 5000 yds so some good options to choose from. There was plenty of water and sand to provide challenges. Very few blind shots. At most a big dog leg here and there otherwise fairly wide fairways and straight holes made the course fair. Greens were in great shape. I honestly kept wondering if the grass on the greens was real as it was almost like carpet. Very nice roles and pace. We saw a HUGE gator and a couple of armadillos along the way. Staff was very welcoming. Carts were nice but no GPS. Price was reasonable. I'm glad we were able to play this course.

Is it the brand or the town? Regardless, Kate and our server one night, Destiny, were great and at the end of the trip I had to extend for about a day and Megan at the front desk was extremely helpful in making that happen. Was so much easier doing that at the front desk than online. Breakfast was pretty good and better than most Holiday Inn Express' that I've been to. Also all the wait staff at breakfast were amazing and extremely cheerful as well. Loved staying here and will definitely choose this hotel again when staying in Titusville in the future.

There were a few problems, but Devin kept a winning attitude, and I would trust her with my next check ins, should we return to this location. The lobby was one of the nicest we've seen in a Holiday Inn. The rooms were quiet, the bed comfortable, the shower pressure was good and the mini refrigerator kept our drinks cold. The breakfast buffet in the attached restaurant was very good, Kudos to Dave for keeping the items fresh and delicious. Katie, Julie and Tara were great hosts, even though I observed them receiving very little appreciation. We visited the buffet every day of our stay. Too bad there wasn't a launch during our stay, because our room window faced Cape Canaveral.

The room was a handicap room and it had a smell to it was not desirable. I cranked the temperature to the lowest it could go. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The next morning, I wanted to make coffee and this coffee machine was a mess, they need to replace the coffee machine (coffee pot cover was broken, the top cover of the coffee machine wouldn't close etc) would I stay here again, definitely not) holiday inn express are so much better then here.

Despite requesting room service twice, our room was never cleaned or refreshed. Cleanliness and maintenance were severely lacking. The bathtub had visible metal ring stains and looked dirty. Most of the gym equipment was broken, and the water dispenser in the gym had visible mold--completely unacceptable and unhygienic. Due to these poor conditions, I requested an early check-out and notified the front desk before noon as required. Although we checked out early, we were still charged for the night. When I raised this with the hotel manager, Sara, she was very rude and showed no concern for customer experience. Overall, the lack of hospitality, cleanliness, and basic customer service was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend staying here.
