My son just graduated Zusin after 2 years, and the change between day one, and where the kid is at…read moregraduation, is astronomical. My kid was six months when he started. Couldn't walk or talk or anything. Now he poops in the toilet all by himself and uses words like delicious and floss. Insane. What a journey. I remembering hugging all his teachers for the last time. We were all crying. So much love flowing that day. Not to mention, gratitude. That's what I felt the deepest. Sadness and loss for sure. But mostly, I felt thankful. Because what the heck would we have done without childcare? We never would have made it. I cannot believe our good fortune, both in being able to afford daycare, but also having loving teachers who were really good at their jobs. It's funny, I was thinking about the old phrase, "good help is hard to find."No it's not. Good help is as abundant as the sun. Care is not a scarce commodity. Competent people are not rare, unreliable or hiding somewhere. What's hard to find is our own ability to recognize it, afford it, access it, trust it, accept it, and acknowledge how much of our lives depend on it. The transformation my son underwent during those two years? It's not a miracle. It's thousands of tiny acts performed by caring people. Meals served. Diapers changed. Tears soothed. Words repeated. Shoes tied. Conflicts mediated. Naps negotiated. Bodies protected. We applied to our daycare during the second trimester, got on the waiting list, and the day he turned six months, we sent him to school. And now he's like a real person. So what I feel right now is mostly gratitude. We hit the lottery. I wanted to sing Zusin's praises, quite literally. So I wrote a song about them. Our child has been enrolled in over 3 years now and tells us that they would love to go during the weekends. They have made a loving impact on the one person I care about and to me, that is all I can ask for. Mikey is a great mascot that the children love to play with during drop-off an pick-up. Alex is also very caring and helpful during all hours and days of the week. They have also supported us during stressful times, especially COVID. They stayed operational while other daycares closed for months. This was greatly needed, as we are full-time working parents and Alex and Mikey made us feel safe with leaving our child. We have no idea what we would have done if they had been closed. I cannot stress enough how amazing this place is. Love SCDC!!!

As a parent, I'm really surprised to see a bad review and very sorry for the bad experience…read morementioned in that review. Hope that parent has good luck to find another place suits her needs. According to my experience, the director Alex is very professional and responsible on her work. I think She manages the daycare very well. My children both started from toddler and I'm very happy with the teachers here too. The children have breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack in the daycare. So I don't have to pack lunch for them. Also, they are less picky here than they are home. They learn letters, numbers and sciences during morning. After lunch, they take a nap. Usually their teachers spend a lot time and energy to sooth them so they can fall asleep (if you ever try to put a young child to sleep, you know what effort that takes). I really appreciate the teachers' patience. Generally speaking, I'm very happy with the daycare and highly recommend it to all my friends.

There are themed days where the children dress up, a summer party and almost every holiday is celebrated. My daughter has attended since she was 14 months, this is like a second home for her. The house is kept meticulously clean, there is a play area, an eating area for lunch and rooms for the kid's nap time. Gigi has a large side yard with lots of toys for the children to play in warmer weather. I would recommend this day care service to anyone, a loving friendly environment - a home away form home.

We moved to the area when our son was 20 months old, and the first thing I noticed he was not getting sick as often at his previous daycare. Gigi is very knowledgeable about child behavior and development stages, she helped us (first time parents) to go through terrible two without stress. There was no bitting, screaming and tantrum period was short and relatively easy. They are a family oriented and adjust to your personal needs. When our second son was born, Gigi taught boys what it means to be a family, and created a strong bond between them. Since this is a mixed age group, younger kids naturally develop skills faster interacting with older peers, while older kids learning to be gentle with babies. As far as academics, they follow preschool programs and teach ABCs, numbers, shapes, working on scissors and glue...you name it. We don't speak English at home, so I can definitely tell boys developed their communication skills and academics at Gigi. In addition they teach Spanish too. Overall it was a great experience and I can't be more grateful to Gigi for her help!
