They told me to call them back two weeks before the date I needed flowers because they couldn't give me any pricing which I respect. Time came to call them and they basically told me they were too expensive for what I wanted- even tho I had been pretty specific when I last spoke with them. They quoted a price of $300 minimum and refused to acknowledge that I wanted pretty basic things- just the color scheme for a bouquet , mini bouquet and two boutonnières. It felt like the other florist in Napa very much didn't want my business! I'm so glad I decided to call St. Helena Florist because they came in at the price I asked for and delivered beautiful florals in the color scheme I wanted. I wasn't being picky, but they did a great job! They even opened the shop a couple minutes early to accommodate my schedule. Flowers are expensive, the work is tedious, and not everyone can simply put a bouqet together and make it look incredible. From the moment we met, I knew she was an expert and I didnt need to keep searching for a wedding florist. She is well experienced and knowledgable about everything from color placement, types of flowers, what is required for the actual venue, and what flowers should be used because they smell so wonderful. She was extremely friendly, a very sweet lady that is worth giving the time to. She was quick to respond to emails and inquiries I had. She is a busy woman, this is her livelyhood so I knew not expect an instantaneous call back. On our wedding day the bouquets were already in place. Gorgeous colorful flowers, they smelled so lovely. They were exactly how she spelled them out in the itemized contract. She has the amazing ability to make the colors colide with out looking spotty, which she promised. I was not sure of what I wanted to do with my bouqet after the wedding. The expected moves of a military bride let me know that surely the dried up flowers would look dishoveled before long, we decided she was right when she told us flowers are to be enjoyed while alive. Its hard to part with such a beautiful arrangement the one you carry while marrying the man of your dreams. Me and my husband did it though the day after the wedding. I wouldnt just throw it in the trash, for me it a part of me for some reaons.. We broke apart the flowers one by one as sort of a ceremony, gathered the petals and took a simple picture. It was something unique, something for us to have. She is the best, look no further.. book her early because she is worth having as a vendor.

What really stood out to us was her ability to supply florals on what ended up being her busiest weekend (Mother's Day). She even helped us repurpose the flowers from our ceremony decor for the reception. Karen's experience in the field was evident - she had clearly worked at the event space before and it showed in her attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. While a few of the corsages were delicate, they still looked beautiful and added a nice touch to the overall look. The value she offered was well worth the cost - we felt like we got a good deal without sacrificing quality. I had gotten a referral from a friend of a friend because I grew up near here in Northern California and she had done amazing things for events and it was, IMO, a long stretch! I reached out figuring , 'what do I have to lose?' Those of us who work in these types of arenas are met with ALL sorts of situations ALL the time.. IF I get told 'no' or ghosted.. I will move on! Dawsha totally surprised me and responded to me on my work phone IN MINUTES of my request!!! MOREOVER, her florals to my tropical need was beyond my expectation and GORGEOUS!!! EVEN under my budget! I was blown away! To have these types of florals available to me for this pop up trip on a weekend, after hours, and delivered to a private terminal on the 'fly' was mind blowing and it truly alleviated a LOT of stress and worry for me. They lasted while we flew to the Hawaiian islands and popped around between them at altitude which is pretty rare. I changed out the water every day and treated them kindly. While Doc & pup waited outside for me I went in intending to browse but ended up finding things that caught my eye to give to Doc for inviting us to celebrate sweet and good T's 4 th birthday celebration. The shop person welcomed me, asked where I was from and how long I was staying. He let me wander the entire rectangular shop's perimeter then zeroed in on the middle cases and tables of goods. As I passed one section of the shop a wonderful fragrance teased my nose- ooh what is it with so many bottles before me. I went toward the shop guy and had to ask. He let me smell 2 products. One I knew wasn't it. The infused pomegranate was $60 and the parfume was $120+ so I selected the artichoke looking or pomegranate little sculpture. They have the most unique cards and items that subtly gave myself a whimsy yes: get it or a chuckle. I needed to get them. Doc was correct and knows me like a book. She said Go in, you like that kind of stuff. Yes indeedy!!! I really enjoyed it in there and so glad I went in.
