I was in the process of looking for a performance boat to buy and was told by a friend to look at…read morePredator Boats before I make a final decision. I had never heard of Predator boats before, but am happy I stopped by. The build quality of these boats are second to none. The only other boat that I looked at that was about the same quality was Progression boats and anybody in performance boating knows what a quality boat Progression makes. The owner was more than happy to spend as much time as needed with me and show me the process of how he makes boats and what materials go into it. Unlike some other performance boat builder on Long Island Predator Boats doesn't use any wood in there boats except balsa wood in the hull which is the strongest material that you can use. The transom is made out of coosa and the stringers and side of the hulls are core foam. The decks in the boat are also made out of a composite material, but I have forgotten what it was called. I was just really impressed with the quality of the boats and how helpful the owner was to spend time with me and answer any question I had. Anybody looking for a performance or CC boat should check out Predator boats before they make a purchase. I bet you will leave very well informed and buying a Predator boat.
