Well we went on Thanksgiving because it was open on Thanksgiving. We needed to check our kids because they had strep symptoms, and the school had sent a warning that many kids are sick with strep. We specifically asked for strep tests. We traveled over an hour to get there and back, and hours later, at Thanksgiving dinner, we were called with the results of Covid and flu tests, which we had specifically NOT asked for, and no strep results. They did not test for strep at all. We suspect that they only tested for the tests they could charge our kids insurance more for. Now we have wasted hours on Thanksgiving, and we have to do it all over again tomorrow because our kids need antibiotics. Great care. I have been here a number of times for illnesses and every time, I have been well cared for. The care starts at the registration, very pleasant and professional staff member who quickly registered me, knowing I wasnt feeling well. The nurse carefully took my vitals and showed me to a room. The doctor came within minutes, listened to me, examined me, provided a diagnosis and treatment. Aside from the gentleman at front desk, this was one of worst experiences I've had at a medical facility. The doctor seemed clueless and I left wondering if he was actually licensed. I went for a simple H & P for a pre-op and left with nothing helpful to that process at all. And, they charged me 3X the cost most places charge. I was left w/my breast exposed after an EKG. The nurse brought in two other people while I was exposed to fix the printer. They just swung the curtain open and waltzed in. I had no idea if we were finished. The nurse said, "Oh! You're probably like traumatized or something haha." Wow. She made a JOKE about me being exposed and removed the leads. I was also not given a urine test after I could not go, & never offered another. Clearly, I would need this for some sort of diagnosis. I was told I would get labs & never did. The nurse asked ME if I could remind the staff. They never came for that. Beforehand, I was left standing at a counter after my bathroom trip within earshot of an employee doing dictation & told a room wasn't ready. I was very weak. Dr. Kong (when I fonally sae her) was extremely rude & dismissive after walking in and giving me a "once over". I was very nervous, weak & cold. I pulled up my patient portal to give the doc some sense of what has been going on w/me the past few days. While waiting, it timed out. She would NOT let me show her what I was trying to w/o talking over me & dismissing my symptoms. My family came in & she continued to RUSH thru my exam and not listen. Instead of LISTENING (and giving me time to catch my breath) she told me she was "hitting a wall" and can't tell me whats wrong. Listening would help. I was completely floored & hurt. I decided to leave & will for sure be following up on this issue. I am absolutely disgusted w/the service I received. read more

This place is great with workers who truly care! I usually don't like to review places like this... I honestly think saying you went to a place like a hospital it should be private or privileged info. But I admit I had to go here due to an old injury. I went in and there were many seats (spaced out for ppl who are afraid of being too close to one another) and sat down near the spot where you kind of "check-in"... There is a place where you instantly put all of your info and after you answer the other important questions, you get to sit and wait. I'd say about every 5 minutes a person gets called to be evaluated before they see a doctor. This seems like not a very involved place until you go from the desk to see a person who will help you. I had a kind person yesterday where it turned out they couldn't help me but let me know of a hospital that had the x-ray type scanning that I needed. I felt they were very kind to me. I will not forget that! If you think going to an e. r. is the best place to go then that might work. If you know somebody that knows what you need is an office or place like this then go here! Physician misdiagnosed my child with obvious strep symptoms (white patches on tonsils, swollen tonsils and lymph nodes, sore throat, nausea, fever, no cough/congestion/runny nose) Insisted it was simply viral and sent us on our way. It was strep after a culture at her pediatrician's office, and the misdiagnosis almost landed her in the hospital. Pediatrician didn't even need to do the culture to feel confident it was strep based on symptoms she had and lack of cough/congestion. Physician was googling which antibiotic she could give if rapid strep test came back positive (it didn't - they are highly inaccurate) and said that if she had to, she would give my child augmentin since she was allergic to amoxicillin. I had to let her know that amoxicillin is an ingredient of augmentin and she could not take it. read more

My husband had a screw cut the top of his finger to the extent that it needed sutures. The check in was quick and efficient. Everyone was professional and pleasant. The doctor was great and caring. Would not recommend this place, the register lady had a poke face, almost yelled at me when she wore a mask to talk to me and I couldn't hear her clearly. And the dr Paul kolecki, he seemed know nothing , I got poison ivy, I asked him some questions, "I don't know, I'm not sure" was the most he said in our short conversation, he tried to get rid of me as soon as possible, he said" I need to see another patient " . This place is awful. I go in to register at the kiosk, and then precede to wait in my car for two hours before I can even register. When I go inside to register, I find that there's no x-ray technician on site. I'm told to come back at 3pm, and they'll get me in. I return at 3pm to register because I wasn't allowed to earlier after spending my entire morning on the parking lot. I find out that there's STILL no x ray technician on site. Get it together!! Horrible facility!! Imagine if I was really ill. I wouldn't put my well being in their hands, and either should you! I will NEVER visit this facility again! Shut it down! read more

The services are affordable and the staff is knowledgeable and comforting. I have high anxiety about doctor's visits, but it was quick fast and efficient. Getting there early helps, apparently flu season is bonkers here. Since changing to this facility I may have saved a few thousand dollars a year. I went in for a middle ear infection, which has nothing to do with Lord of the Rings for you novices out there. I was checked-in in about 5 minutes and 2 minutes later my vitals were being checked. The Physicians Assistant saw me after a few minutes and I was assessed and on my way. All and all a positive experience. read more

I was a first time patient last night for ear issues. I wanted to thank all the lovely people who assisted me. Shanelle at reception, who was so charming and typed faster than ive evet seen anyone do. My nurse who did vitals and literally removed the pain and restored my hearing ,he was just so gentle and persistent and worked very hard untill the issue was corrected.Last but not least, Dr Johnson. What a pleasant, kind human being. No-one made me feel like i had to hurry up and vacate the bed , the way you sometimes do when you go to ,an ER. My nurse Nigel and Dr Johnson gave.me all the instructions etc.. that i required and were just truly a pleasure.i even almost forgot that i was in pain. I'd give this place 1 star if it weren't for the nurses and reception being very nice. I went in because I was certain I had the flu and found out my doctor wasn't practicing anymore. The lobby was packed and I knew there would be a wait, I sat out front for about an hour. They moved me into an exam room and I was in there for probably 1-1.5 hours. What really made the whole thing SUPER enjoyable was the doctor walking into my room, sighing loudly, and saying "and what's your problem". He then proceeded to say we don't give flu medicine to healthy 28 year olds. Really? I sat there for 2-3 hours only to be told you don't even give medication? That set me off. If you can avoid this place, do it. Care stat down the street is better but they don't take independence blue cross. read more

I've never seen such unprofessionalism in my life! Almost gave me an X-ray without a urine test. One nurse bad mouthed another nurse in front of me. Heard the rest of the staff (including the doctor) talking badly about a nurse. Then got mad because I had questions about my results and uncovered that the test didn't test for something I had a history of! The doctor told me, had I disclosed that, she would have sent me to the ER.... How would I have disclosed that if i didn't know my symptoms were linked, there was not questionnaire to fill out, and all you asked was if i smoked or did drugs? I'm not the expert! I've been here multiple times since they opened and overall, it's been good. The worst time involved a 90 minute wait for the Dr/PA and his dismissive attitude when he did arrive such as starting off with "I've heard you've been complaining about the wait." Every time I have been there, the nurses, techs, and reception have been nice. The splints they provide are good for a few days but they don't have boots although they do tell you to follow up with your Ortho. Overall, much cheaper than the ER and quicker than seeing my PCP. I have UHC for insurance and the bills are reasonable. When I went to Care Stat for a different broken bone they charged $500+ while Patient First would be $150 or less. Went in yesterday for a broken bone and the Dr/PA that treated me was probably the nicest I have ever experienced. Didn't get her name, but they need more like her. All other employees were very nice too. read more

I went into Patient First with a bad cough and severe chest/back pain. The sign-in process was easy and I was taken back for vitals relatively quickly. From there I went straight into a room to wait for a bit, and got gowned up. After a little bit, the nurse took me back for chest x-rays. Then back in the room, the doctor came in and examined me. The whole process was very easy. I got prescriptions on the spot. Everything was run great here and I would definitely come back. However... my whole opinion of this experience may change if I get a big bill from them after they try to bill my insurance! ;) We shall see. read more

I never had any issues about going for a bad cough to leg injury. Faster than seeing my PCP and less of a wait time. Very clean and efficient way of handling most minor medical issues. Incompetent. I had a doctor check me out, and prescribe something that my GP said does "jack s**t" for the condition. So it got worse, and now I have to have a procedure. Doc spent 6 minutes with me. 5 of those trying to get his computer to work and 1 minute to put me on the wrong treatment plan. Done with this place. read more

I went into patient first with severe flu symptoms ( fever, colored mucous, dry wheezing cough, etc..). I was brought into the back rather quickly and that was about the only thing that was quick. To start it off the nurse told me I had all the symptoms of the flu, so she tested me for strep. She than told me the test would take 15 minutes to complete but in reality it took over 40 minutes just for her to come back and tell me the strep test was negative.. The Nurse than had me take a flu swab, again she told me it would only take 15 minutes to complete but like the time before it took over 40 minutes to hear back from anyone in that office. Meanwhile I'm sitting there with 101 degree fever watching nurses walk around talking and doing wash. Finally the nurse returns and tells me I tested positive for the flu, so I think cool they're about to finish me up and I can get back home....nope I was wrong. She than tells me I need X-rays of my chest to see if I have signs of pneumonia or bronchitis. I get done my X-rays and the X-ray tech tells me she's going to go look at my X-rays and that I can go back to my room to wait for the Dr and results. The Dr comes back and tells me "oh well the X-rays won't be able to be seen until tomorrow" and now they want to run blood work on me. At this point i felt horrible and wanted to go home to bed and take medicine so I said no to the blood work. My mom had asked the Dr if they could fill the prescription there and her answer to my mom was "I actually just sent it to the CVS across the street, they're open 24 hrs". Sure enough we go across the street and the pharmacy is closed and to top that off, Patient first closed as soon as we left. So I waited over 2 hours so I could get the actual medicine I needed and I was not able to get it until the following day. I just feel like it would've made a lot more sense to do the flu and strep swabs at the same time and than send me to get my X-rays right after, it would've saved so much time and frustration. Especially since the first thing the nurse told me was I had all the signs of the flu. IT GETS BETTER!! When we first arrived to the patient first I had to change some information I had in their systems from when was there 2 years ago, new insurance, address and phone numbers. following day my mom went on the patient first patient portal to check my X-ray results and she couldn't log in because they didn't change any of the phone numbers so we couldn't get the verification text. My mom than called and they forwarded her to multiple different people in the office and than finally to the Dr which went straight to the answering machine. We were told we would be contacted back within 24 hrs, we were never contacted back. Finally we call backhand get in touch with the front desk, they ask me to verify my address and phone number. I tell her my info (mind you I just sat with the same lady 3 days before and updated all of my info) and she tells me she can't verify it because thats not what they have on file. Than she asks what was the insurance I used, I tell her blue cross and she goes oh well thats not what we have shown.....how is that even possible idek. The service is very unprofessional and very disorganized. Majority of the employees looked under the age of 30, not saying thats a bad thing but being 23 myself I know not having a solid leader or role model in the work environment can lead to a lot of these problems. Well my son and I are visiting from San Diego. My son had an accident that left a laceration above his left eye. If I was back home I would have brought him to a nurse friend but I am here so I went to the closest Urgent Care in the middle of a snow storm. We get checked in and sit down. Not seconds after that, the Urgent Care decided to close, locking the doors as we watched. We got called back, the ladies checking us in were very nice & moved us to a room quickly. We sat down and the doctor walked in, did not even talk to my son. Looked at the cut from about 3ft away & said we cannot fix this here. If we cant use glue we cant do it here. Then he referred us to Chop or Bryn Mawr Hospital. We drove back through the snow storm to Bryn Mawr Hospital where we waited to be seen and once the doctor came in, she took a close look at it & said "we can fix this with glue" then explained to me why we can and how quick it would be. Thank you BRYN MAWR HOSPITAL DOCTORS that weren't in a rush to throw us out in the middle of a snow storm so they could go home. Hopefully this Urgent Care doesn't charge me or my insurance for anything! read more

The only reason they are getting 2 stars is that my sons visit for stitches could be described as okay care. I do think places like this are good for minor problems, but not the big stuff. My huge problem is that I am still dealing with billing issues due to their inability to file claims a year and a half later. They never billed my sons insurance and despite my phone calls to them and he insurance company on their behalf they failed to file the claim until almost a year later. Oh yeah, and they are billing me more than the claim to the insurance company. This place has caused me nothing but headaches, and the care was not worth it. Especially because there is other urgent care places almost everywhere you turn. My advice is stay away!!! If I could give no stars I would. This place seriously needs to retrain its employees in having better customer service skills, especially this nurse by the name of Pat. My mother went there for an issue with her feet and was prescribed a medication that she had an allergic reaction to. She went back there and they prescribed her another medication but cannot take capsule medication and can only take tablets. I called the facility to speak to a nurse to rectify the situation and ended up being transferred to a nurse by the name of Pat. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had communicating with anyone. Pat was nasty and a horrible person to speak to. I'm not sure if she was having a bad day, but maybe she should've called out of work. If this is how she is on the customer service end, she NEEDS TO CHANGE PROFESSION. Being any sort of healthcare provider it is definitely important to be knowledgeable in your field, but customer service goes hand in hand when dealing with sick patients. No-one wants to deal with a disrespectful person, especially when the patient is paying the facility for help. What made this worst is that this NURSE PAT claimed to be a manager in the back, which I honestly don't believe, because if you're supposed to be leading by example, but you treat your patients like trash, you need to be fired or quit. This facility needs to get rid of this woman or get her some proper training, because this isn't it!!!! read more

Light bumps, bruises, and maybe a tough cold or fever, otherwise see your primary. Pros: the dispense Rx pretty routinely & will give you a note for a few days out of work (which I don't need) right away. Cons: for a broken bone or ultrasound, CAT scan, or anything that requires real medical treatment, go to the ER. They were completely useless for a hernia. Basically gave me a script for ultrasound that I had to then call for & schedule. The "Dr." offered no advice/opinion for how I should handle it (stay off feet, ice or hot or aspirin). Only to go to ER if I have discomfort. REALLY? Yup, I ended up in the ER & scheduled for immediate surgery. Oh, you bet their bill is coming! Use them for the little stuff only. read more

Dr. Hassan is the best doctor I've ever had! Although , I've only had her twice, each time she is courteous, professional and goes the extra mile to explain my condition to me. She also makes me feel comfortable even when I am coughing and blowing my sick breath in her face.lol. If she ever gets a private practice, I will definitely be one her first patient. I feel everyone at Patient First is nice and it is always so clean in there. I went there on 4/3 around 6 pm and it was wall to wall people and not one parking spot! So I immediately turned around when I was told Dr.Hasan wasn't there. I am glad I did because when I went back the next day around 8:15 AM, I was out by 9 AM which is what I am used to. So my one recommendation would be to turn Patient Firsr into a private practice and then offer extended hours for urgent care until 10 PM. Maybe even add other specialtys such as a pediatrician, dentist, opthamalogist, orthopedic ,gynecologist and even a nutritionist ! That way it could be a one stop shop for the young and old! I think that would be a great idea, no one wants to go all over for healthcare. Although that space may be kind of small for those specialties, I think you could offer the specialties on different days and even throw in a Saturday & Sunday. I would love to be able to go to my appta, instead of having to take time off during work on a weekday. Well that's all I have for now. I had to go in for a PPD test for school. Expecting it to take maybe 15-20 minutes, I waited just to be called to check in for about 30 to an hour, and then waited another half hour just to be called to get the test and results. The staff were very rude, short with people, and gave attitude towards everyone. The positive is that I got my results. read more

I am very displeased with the professionalism amongst the staff. They where very rude and condescending. I overheard one of the nurses mocking me, when I told her I had more questions for the doctor before she drew my blood. She walks off and goes to another nurse saying "she doesn't want her blood drawn she has more questions first blah blah blah." On my first visit as we where leaving (after closing) I asked one of the staff to please let me out (I didn't want to unlock the door without them knowing) her reply was "you can let yourself out" very rudely. The next time I came in my husband asked one of the staff for a cup of water so that I could take my pills with a rude reply we where told that "we don't normally give cups out for water" (but she did end up giving us one). I understand that on this day it was very busy with lots of patients but i don't think I should have been treated so poorly or anyone for that matter. Even the doctor was short with me and walked out before I could ask questions. I will never be going back to this place again. It's very heartbreaking to have people who are supposed to be taking care of you while you are sick or not feeling well treat you with such disrespect. I ended up just walking out because I was so discouraged and upset. read more

I had an AMAZING experience! Every person I spoke to was friendly informative and kind. From the first person to the last person I spoke with I was treated with respect. I regret that I forget all the staffs names but I believe Liz Teresa and dr wunder made an excellent efficient team. I was very scared and anxious and they made me feel at ease and got me the care I needed. After a terrible experience with vybe who never even answered the 3 video calls I scheduled this team was a blessing as my anxiety was through the roof.
