Despite some concerns, I continued coming back because I prefer consistency and didn't want to switch vets. However, my recent experiences with my current cat, Miso, have been extremely disappointing. Over multiple visits this year, I was told my cat needed to be medicated with gabapentin due to "aggression." When that didn't work, they prescribed trazodone. Even after administering both medications, I was told my cat was still "too aware," and they were only able to complete partial vaccinations (rabies and FVRCP). I specifically asked for the leukemia vaccine as well, but they declined and told me to come back another time to avoid further stress. At my visit on 04/10, I was then told my cat would require additional sedation via injection, increasing the cost from an estimated $90 to $220. Instead, I chose to go to another nearby veterinary clinic. Within less than 5 minutes, they were able to administer all necessary vaccines including the leukemia shot without any additional sedation. My cat is vocal, but he was handled efficiently and safely. Additionally, during one visit, two technicians openly admitted that they had previously had a cat escape through the roof. That raised serious concerns for me regarding their handling procedures and overall safety protocols. Based on my experience, this clinic appears to rely heavily on medication and upselling sedation rather than proper handling techniques. Cat owners should be cautious and consider getting a second opinion.

While waiting, we could hear our dog vocalizing in pain and staff speaking and LAUGHING LOUDLY, which felt very inappropriate given the situation. This was one of the most painful experiences our family has gone through, and we felt there was a lack of compassion and professionalism during such a sensitive procedure. Checked in at 8:00AM. 9:05AM, We see people coming and going and Blue still has not been called. 9:06 AM my husband went up to the front desk and said BLUE hasn't been called yet ? And she said let me check. Oh you're not checked in, so my husband was handed a clipboard and filled out paperwork and later BLUE was called back.. We received updates on Blue, AKG, lab work all looks great so Dr. Borey can go ahead with the surgery. Dr. Boris's nurse called again and I could hear Dr. Borey in the background asking if the left upper tooth had a root canal and I said no and he said because there's green stuff coming out of the hole in the tooth he said since there was no root canal that he would go ahead and extract that tooth. Thank you for calling and double checking regarding BLUE's tooth and giving us updates and you are all amazing.! Received an update that BLUE surgery was successful and that he's recovering comfortably and we can pick him up between 6:45 PM - 7:00 PM. Meds were ready, pre op instructions were given. Dr. Borey has so much energy, he should bottle it and sell it. He needs all the energy he has to work a 16 hour day. I cannot thank Dr. Borey, and staff enough for taking exceptional care of each pet. You are exceptional and I am so glad I came across your clinic and everyone I have referred you to loves you and sings your praises. Blue is doing so well after surgery yesterday. He came home to a new dog bed, and a soft plush toy which he loves his toys. We have 4 German Shepherds, and with Blue not home our home felt quiet, lonely and the other 3 missed him too. This review has taken me some time to post because it has been a difficult situation to process. We…read moretook our 6 year old otherwise healthy Labradoodle in due to extreme lethargy and swelling. Intake was fine, but that was the only part of the experience that was. Our dog was taken away for testing and we were left to fill out paperwork. While we were doing that, another patient was trying to make payment for their dog's sudden euthanasia. His card was not working and he was offering alternate ways to pay with no real help or feedback from reception. He felt a bit panicked...his significant other was crying in the exam room while the fact that his card declined had become a very public discussion in the lobby. While we were there an owner came in with a dog that had been hit by a car and another owner came in with a pet with a snake bite. Both were visibly rattled. I had to help one of the owners fill out the intake paperwork, as no help was offered. While we have a dog being put to sleep in one room, two frantic owners in the lobby, and me anxiously awaiting test results, the two people at the front desk talked about their weekend plans and laughed. This went on the entire time I was in the lobby. We were taken to an exam room. The doctor could not pull up the xray images. After waiting for some time, my nerves were frazzled and I ask that she simply dictate what she found, as we did not need visuals. She denied my request and left for 15-20 minutes while trying to figure out how to get the results sent to the correct computer. That wait was horrible as we had absolutely no clue as to what was going on. She finally returned and told us that there was an issue with our dog's spleen and that the surgery would be $8,000 and "probably not worth it." The other options were to take her home and simply wait for natural death, take her home with Chinese herbs that would help death come sooner but not ease the pain, or put her to sleep. At that time I asked my husband to bring our children down to say goodbye. Understand, that morning we left for work with a perfectly healthy (so we thought) 6 year old dog and this decision was absolutely unexpected. After waiting an eternity, the tech came in and administered the medication that caused her breathing to slow and eventually stop. We never saw the doctor after our decision was made. No one offered condolences or their expressed regret that we had such a heavy experience. In fact, though there were signs on two doors that said "please be quite, someone is saying goodbye to a loved one" we walked out with red, swollen faces to staff still cracking jokes behind the desk. It felt surreal. Sometime later a voicemail was left letting me know her remains were ready for pick up. Before I could call back, they placed a second call. Quite frankly, I wasn't ready to take that call knowing what it was about, but I answered. The person on the other end was very matter of fact and ended the conversation saying that if I don't come by the end of the week my dog's remains would "be disposed of." Mind you, this is the first time their office ever talked to me...it isn't like months or even weeks had passed since I was given this information. Additionally, my dog's cremation was a service that I paid several hundreds for. To act like they were doing some favor by holding her 5" x 7" box in their office until I could pick her up was unacceptable and cruel. Over the years I have had many pets that passed and I have never, ever experienced such treatment. I, unfortunately, have to drive by this location daily and every time I do I think back to the poor treatment we experienced from the time we checked in until we picked up our dog's remains. I write this as a word of caution because I would genuinely hate for another pet loving family to ever experience this.

They checked his vitals, but we didn't pursue extensive diagnostics. Instead, he spoke candidly about what he was seeing--neurologically, Baxter was not himself and had clearly lost significant muscle mass. At his age, there was likely more going on than one treatable issue. The veterinarian could have easily recommended a long list of tests. Instead, he gave me real guidance. When I asked what he would do if it were his own dog, he told me he would choose euthanasia at this stage, explaining that "a day or a week too early is better than a day too late" to avoid unnecessary suffering. I had been struggling with this decision for a while, and that honesty helped me feel confident I was doing the right thing. It meant everything. Once I made the decision, the compassion from the staff was incredible. They handled everything with such care, dignity, and kindness. I've also been here before when Baxter was first diagnosed with heart failure, and had the same experience. The veterinarian literally told me it wasn't an emergency and that I could either proceed with treatment there or follow up with my regular vet the next day and save the cost of emergency care. That level of transparency really stuck with me. I'm truly grateful for this team and this office. If you're ever in a difficult situation with your pet, this is a place where you'll receive honest, compassionate care--not pressure to run unnecessary tests or take advantage of a vulnerable moment.
