We ordered like the fat fucks that we are, and had fish cakes, chicken satay, squid and some kind of stir fried pork. I also rate their masaman curry and kanom jeeb dumplings more highly than I can express in words, and their homemade ice creams are fleek af too plus they do cool flavours like coconut and pandan. Your whole experience here is going to be heightened immeasurably by the cuteness of the tiny Thai grandma that serves the food. I just want to kiss her all over her jolly little face. She brings you these little spearmint chewy sweets with your bill that instantly take on the exact texture of pre-chewed chewing gum when you eat them. Maybe they are chewing gum? For those of you who are familiar with the area, it's the building that used to house the French restaurant (which I'll actually miss, they were really nice) but it's a lovely space, nice and bright and modern. We had a chance to chat with the new owner and it seems he's got a bit of experience with restaurants in the past so we're looking forward to having them as a permanent fixture in our little neighborhood. For our entree we both ordered the pineapple rice. The presentation was delightful. Def food porn visually and it def tasted as good as it looked. The only draw back for me was I ordered a Lichee Martini and they didn't really know what it was. The owners are so nice. They treated us great. The decor is so calming.
