It's a nice spacious salon and my stylist was very nice & friendly and made me feel at ease. Got a peek at the beauty treatment rooms upstairs which are bright and spacious. Price for my cut & colour was good too, all in all I am happy and would recommend. Also, very good opening hours, late night and open on a Sunday, perfect.

The shop is bright and airy and smells divine - as any good Body Shop does. The staff are eager to please and very helpful when asked for advice. A good selection of the trade-mark Body Shop skin creams and cosmetics plus shower and bath products. They also sell some great gift selections and, if you want to create a special gift for someone, they will help you choose and make it up for you in one of their presenation baskets. The man in your life will also find some super-smelling bath & body products including their popular For Men Shave Cream - my husband loves it and always buys it when we're in Inverness. Open 5 days a week, 9am-6pm. The shop is situated on the first floor of the Eastgate Centre in Inverness but there is a lift to the floor and the shop is easily negotiated by wheelchair. I also like their coconut creme shower gel, it smells lovely and summery. They sell a great range for the shower and bath and sell lots of lovely lotions. Slightly esoteric in its nature, it has a lovely selection of natural remedies, essential oils and jewelry all sold by a very knowledgeable and charming vendor. My wife bought skin creams and an oil burner and I bought a lovely locally made shaving soap bar. We went back again last time we were in the area. Hard not to. The smell when you come in is so phantastic, this is not your average tourist souvenir shop, you come in and feel welcome, sort of at home, it's hard to describe. There is so much to discover, I easily spend an hour browsing, even though it's a small shop. Got to chat a bit with the lovely vendor, who is a trained herbalist, and she really knows her stuff, she gave me very good advice for my skin condition and I bought quite some stuff off her, could have bought the whole shop. We went back another time to stock up, sadly we haven't been able to go back to the highlands for a couple of years, I just wish we had a shop like this in Hamburg! This is an excellent hairdressers but very, very pricey…read more I have to confess that's it's been a while since I was there last simply because after a 2-hour car journey to reach the salon (although I live 100 miles away, Inverness is my nearest large town) I arrived in good time but was still sitting waiting for my hairdresser to turn up which he eventually did, some 45 minutes later. He was an excellent hairdresser but on reflection, I think they might have offered me a discount for my lengthy wait! I hope things have changed, but do keep an eye on the prices. There is a tariff of prices for the treatments available but somehow I always ended up paying more than I thought I would. For instance, if you are booked in for a colour and cut, you will find that you are also charged for the wash and blow-dry afterwards. This is fair enough but when I book at appointment for a colour & cut I would assume the price includes the wash and dry before and after - it's not as if you have a choice! That said, the stylists are usually excellent and you can be sure you will receive a really good hair 'experience'. But if you're watching the pennies in these credit-crunch times, be sure to find out exactly how much you're likely to be charged!
