Showed up for my appointment. Didn't have my insurance card but I told them I can print it out since I was logging into my blue cross blue shield. She said they need the hard copy. I've never heard of that. What if someone has to re order one and it's takes a while for it to be received. That's why they give you an option online. The ladies were rude and one of them seem clueless. I told them I will reschedule but definitely not ever coming back. I mean what do they think that I'm going to print out a fake card??? Lol that's why you verify the insurance. read more

I've been a patient of Marie's since Dec 2016. The office is very pleasant and easy to work with. I'm able to come in for an appointment fairly quickly and don't have a long wait. Marie is excellent...very attentive and understands the needs/challenges women experience with menopause. I'm managing menopause with estrogen and testosterone pellets with great success. I first went to Dr. Allen, in his Basswood office, when I first moved to the DFW metroplex area around December of 2011. I had difficulty locating the establishment because they had no clear way of distinguishing their office from other offices in the area. So I had no idea if i was walking in to the right office or not. The nurses were nice, and the receptionist was nice, but that was about it. The overall experience was awkward. Needless to say, I was ready to leave by the end of my appointment. I later had to revisit the Dr. on a later date around June or July of 2012. Again i couldn't locate the office because they had moved and there was no sign or anything indicating the location of his office. Again pretty much the only thing that was remotely nice about this visit was the receptionist. I had never had a yeast infection before and had no idea what was wrong with me. The Dr checked me out and informed me that they were 98% sure that I had herpes. Of course i was a wreck and had no idea what to do. They took a sample, gave me a cream and sent me next door to take blood, promising that whenever they received the results from the tests that they would call me confirming the results. I waited and waited for the call, that Friday, and it never came. So i decided to take matters into my own hands on the following Monday, and was informed by the receptionist, that it was just a minor yeast infection. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS DOCTOR EVER AGAIN. They are unprofessional, and personally i think the only thing good about this office, is the receptionist. read more
