Hired Patrick to paint our newly installed wood fence. The install was by another company. He gave a fair quote and was quite responsive and we are very happy with the work. High praise to him for attention to detail and commitment to quality. The project took a little longer than we had expected (8 hours vs 3-4) as it was just a two person crew but based on how we priced it (labor + material) there was no issue. Sharing this more for awareness as he's more of a small business starting out than a crew with a branded truck ready to complete and leave. I would love for the review to comment on the expertise for flooring installation but never had the opportunity to experience their competence. After hiring Patrick Murray for a large job based upon, in large part, the positive reviews on Yelp, I received a start date for the job. The company then followed up with 3 delays for various reasons (at the last minute) and after waiting for a month of serial delays for project initiation, I was told they could not manage the job and I would need to hire an alternative installer. Terrible communication as most delays were conveyed on or close to the day the installation was supposed to commence. They seem like good people but clearly cannot manage their business obligations in a professional manner. If you can tolerate multiple delays, they might be suitable for your job but buyer beware. read more

I had the pleasure of hiring Patrick Murray and his associate Mike to lay two floors of luxury vinyl tile and paint the inside of my residence in Escondido. Their workmanship was superb, their suggestions educated and no-pressure, friendly workmen arrived on-time each day and the estimated length of projects were exact, the quoted prices were fair and Patrick added on several free 'extras' during the painting. A closet floor wasn't done quite correctly and Patrick insisted it be removed and replaced, even though I assured him it didn't matter - it's a dark closet!
